At the beginning of the episode, Ayush tells Dadi that she is the prettiest in this family and teases her that men are looking at her. He asks her if she had a boyfriend in college. Dadi tells him she had a love marriage with his Nana. Shalu also comes and talks to them.
Soniya tells Karishma that Shalu is being too friendly with everyone in the family, specially Ayush. Karishma says Ayush is just polite with her because he is pro-Lakhsmi. Virendra comes and asks Karishma why she did not wear a Punjabi dress. She says she did not like the fit. Guests come dressed in Punjabi dress and say they want to do the Bhangra. Karishma feels happy that now Lakshmi will be insulted for not arranging the DJ.
She calls Lakshmi and asks her to call the DJ. All the guests ask for music. Lakshmi says she could not arrange the DJ. Karishma insults Lakshmi and says there is no party without DJ and she should have asked them if she did not know better. Neelam says she is disappointed with her. Rishi says he would have helped her if she asked. Virendra asks them all to shut up so that Lakshmi can say what she wants to say.
Lakshmi tells that she has arranged live music instead of DJ. She says the theme is Punjabi so music should also be Punjabi. She calls the DHOLIS. Gurucharan comes in with her band of DHOLWALLAHS. Everyone enjoys the music. Virendra starts dancing with them. He calls Neelam to dance. She hesitates so he tells her to forget everything and just live in the moment.
Soniya and Karishma are shocked to see them dancing. Neelam teaches steps to Virendra and laughs wholeheartedly. Everyone dances and enjoys the party. Karishma, Soniya, and Malishka watch grudgingly. Rano and Neha also come and wish Virendra and Neelam. Rano tells Neha to dance with Ayush. Guests tell Neelam that they had an awesome experience. Dadi tells Lakshmi and Rishi to dance too. Rishi hesitates, so Lakshmi challenges him to dance with her.
Rishi and Lakshmi dance together. Malishka gets jealous watching them. Ayush pulls Karishma and Malishka too. Rishi dances closely with Malishka. Gurucharan notices this and feels upset. Lakshmi gestures to Rishi that he danced well. Ayush steps on Neha’s foot, so she cries. He takes her with him to help her. Neha thinks she must follow them.
Gurucharan worries about Lakshmi. Karishma ignores Rano, so she thinks her daughter will soon marry her son then she will know who she is. Neha pretends to be hurt. He takes her to the guest room. Neha thinks he will now touch her in excuse of applying tube. Ayush instead gives her a tablet. Neha says she will not have it. Shalu comes there and thinks she will soon finish her game. She tells Neha that Rishi was calling her. Neha goes running, but then realizes her leg was hurt. She says Ayush’s tablet worked so fast.
Karishma rebukes Malishka for letting Lakshmi come close to Rishi. Malishka says she and Rishi danced closely. Karishma says she must notice that Rishi has started listening to Lakshmi. She says soon Lakshmi will start controlling Rishi completely. Malishka says it is no big deal if he danced. Karishma says Rishi was happy while dancing with Lakshmi and Malishka must start noticing these things herself. Malishka thinks Karishma is giving her unnecessary stress.
