At the beginning of the episode, Lakshmi says it is not some packaged ointment, but homemade so it will not hurt. Rishi smiles at her and then suddenly his expression changes. Lakshmi feels confused and goes away.
Malishka tells Karishma that she cannot behave badly with Lakshmi, but she is not guilty about what they are doing. She says Lakshmi is getting something she would never have dreamt of and they saved Lakshmi from Balwinder. Soniya comes and says even Neelam thinks the same. Karishma tells her to be careful of Lakshmi.
Virendra says to Neelam that he can see guilt in her eyes. Neelam says she knows she is right and she will not let anything wrong happen to Lakshmi. Neelam says she will settle Lakshmi after her marriage with Rishi is over.
Rishi thinks he cannot sleep with Lakshmi on the same bed and cannot even go out of the room as he is unwell. He tells Lakshmi that he is used to sleeping alone on the bed and moves his legs while sleeping. Lakshmi says he cannot do that and she will sleep on the couch as his leg is hurt. Rishi feels she always thinks about him.
Rishi and Malishka chat. Lakshmi starts coughing while sleeping. Rishi gets her a glass of water. Lakshmi asks him if he has pain while standing. He says he is better, as he wants to get Ganapati Bappa the next day. Lakshmi tells Rishi that he is a very good man, he takes so much care of her and loves her so much. Malishka wonders why Rishi is not replying to her messages.
Lakshmi decorates the place for Ganapati festival. Malishka and Karishma see her. Malishka asks why Lakshmi does the kinds of jobs that maids can do. Karishma says she has never seen money, so she does not know that they have decorators to do this job. Neelam comes down. Karishma says Neelam will not be able to tolerate Lakshmi’s middle class taste. Neelam asks Lakshmi what she is doing. Lakshmi says she was decorating the space for Ganapati ji. Neelam asks who told her to do so. Neelam says decorators have decorated the whole house beautifully, so they can decorate Ganapati place too. Lakshmi says her mother used to tell that daughter in law should do such things. Karishma says now see what happens. Neelam says her mother was right but she should check with her before doing anything. She compliments Lakshmi that the place is looking good.
Karishma asks Neelam why she changed the rules for Lakshmi. Karishma says Lakshmi is decorating in her middle class way. Neelam says it is a small matter. She tells that Pandit ji told her that Lakshmi must do everything with her own hands, so that Rishi and Lakshmi will stay married forever. Neelam says she cannot tell the truth to Pandit ji, so she has to allow this. Neelam says she does not care if she does anything or not, but everything must appear normal. Karishma says what if the blessing turn out to be true and they stay married forever. Neelam tells Karishma to help Rishi and Malishka. Neelam says she will ask Lakshmi to do all the rituals but Karishma must make sure that Rishi and Malishka do those rituals.
Ganapati Bappa arrive. The whole family welcomes Ganapati Bappa. Lakshmi asks Neelam what should be made for BHOG. Neelam says she will not be able to make it. Neelam says they have to make MODAK which are made with jaggery and coconut. Dadi says she will teach Lakshmi. Dadi asks Neelam to order MOTICHOOR LADDU for guests. Lakshmi asks if she can make them. Neelam says there are too many guests, so she can make a few for BHOG and rest caterers can make. Lakshmi says she can make for everyone. Dadi asks Lakshmi to invite her uncle and aunt and sisters too. Virendra says he will personally call them to invite. Soniya, Ahana and Devika go to get ready.
Virendra asks Lakshmi not to work so hard and he can order the LADDUS. She requests him to let her do that as this is her first festival in the house and she wants everyone to have sweets made by her. She says she makes even better LADDUS then her mother.
Rishi asks Malishka why she is not talking to him. Malishka says he has changed because of Lakshmi. Rishi says he will not listen to anything about Lakshmi.
