At the beginning of the episode, Lakshmi tells Malishka that she has seen the girl’s photos and asks for Malishka’s help in finding that girl. Malishka says she will help her even though she feels Rishi is not having an affair. Lakshmi thanks her and says that girl is committing a sin by coming between Rishi and her. Ahana calls Lakshmi to tell that everyone has come back. Lakshmi hugs Malishka.
Shalu comes in and asks if she could see the girl. Lakshmi tells Shalu that Malishka is her friend too and she will help her in finding that girl. Shalu asks Lakshmi to talk to Rishi, but Lakshmi says she will talk to Rishi at home. Malishka asks Ayush where Rishi is, but he has gone out of the office.
Lakshmi thinks of what Shalu said to her. Ahana asks her what is wrong. Lakshmi says it is nothing. She looks at Rishi’s photos from the inauguration and thinks of Rishi’s promises after their marriage. Rishi comes. Lakshmi hides the photos. Rishi asks what she is hiding. Lakshmi says the same thing that he hid.
Neelam comes and asks Lakshmi to come with her. Rishi feels puzzled at Lakshmi’s behavior. Virendra asks Neelam to talk to Lakshmi for a minute. Virendra asks her if something has happened. He tells Lakshmi to call Nana ji if Neelam scolds her. Lakshmi says he exaggerates about Neelam as she is so sweet. Virendra says he must remain her favorite in this whole house. Virendra tells Lakshmi to tell him anything that bothers her.
Lakshmi goes to Neelam and wonders if she should tell Virendra about Rishi’s affair. Karishma asks why Neelam is doing so much for Karwachauth, as it will just do much more publicity for Lakshmi. Dadi scolds her and tells her to say something nice. Neelam says she cannot question her decision. She says Karwachauth is done for her husband’s long life and her husband is Rishi, so she is only thinking about her son’s life.
Neelam says Lakshmi’s fasting happily will only help Rishi, so she is only making it a happy occasion for Lakshmi. She says she does not care about what will happen after a year, but she is just thinking at the moment.
Dadi asks Karishma to get her charger from her room as Lakshmi comes behind them. Karishma thinks that they should not celebrate every festival with Lakshmi. Malishka calls Karishma to thank her and tells that Lakshmi has seen some girl with Rishi. Malishka reaches home and Karishma talks to her mother. Karishma tells her mother that things are crossing limits and Rishi and Lakshmi are gradually accepting Lakshmi.
Dadi tells Lakshmi about Karwachauth. Lakshmi says she already took all the stuff for puja. Neelam is taken aback but gives the gifts to Lakshmi. Lakshmi calls Neelam her mother. Neelam asks her to be happy and asks Lakshmi to call Rano.
Malishka blasts Karishma for not saying such things in front of her mother as Rishi is only hers. Karishma says she told her the truth, now rest is her choice. Malishka assures her mother that everything is fine between Rishi and her. Rishi worries why Lakshmi is upset with him. He thinks he must talk to Lakshmi himself.
Neha misbehaves on phone thinking it is her friend. Neelam tells that it is she on the line. Neha apologizes and calls Rano. Neelam tells Rano to send the SARGI on time. Rano says she will make it herself and send it at 5 am. Neha screams at Rano for doing so much for Lakshmi. Rano says she will neither prepare anything nor send it and will make some excuse. They are happy that Lakshmi will not be able to eat or drink anything.
