At the beginning of the episode, Rano and Neha feel happy that Lakshmi will not be able to eat or drink anything, so she will faint with hunger and her fast will break. Dadi advises Lakshmi about fasting. Lakshmi thinks about Rishi’s lies as she sees him in the room. Rishi is about to ask her, but Dadi calls her to her room.
Rishi thinks about why Lakshmi is avoiding him. Dadi asks Lakshmi to get a box down from the cupboard. She gives a ring to her and tells that Rishi’s Nani gave it to her asking to give it to Rishi’s wife. She says she used to love Rishi a lot. Rishi comes to Dadi’s room and asks what it is. Dadi tells him that Lakshmi will fast for his life the next day and he must also give her a nice gift.
Rishi tells Lakshmi not to fast for him. Dadi says what he is saying. Rishi tells Dadi that she knows everything, still, she is asking Lakshmi to fast for him. Lakshmi asks what he means.
Ahana tells Devika that Lakshmi looked disturbed ever since she came back. Karishma overhears them. She comes and asks them to sleep early and what they were talking about. They make excuses and go to bed. Karishma thinks she cannot trust Ahana and she will use Ahana against Lakshmi when the time is right. Devika says sometimes it seems Karishma loves Malishka even more than Ahana. Ahana says she loves Lakshmi way more than Malishka.
Lakshmi says karwachauth is her duty as well as right, so how can Rishi stop her. Rishi says she is not used to fasting so why to unnecessarily do it. Lakshmi says it is not unnecessary but it is for the whole family too. Lakshmi says it is not torture, but her love. Rishi tries to dissuade her, but Neelam says Lakshmi is right. She says rituals are very important and she wants him to support Lakshmi instead of stopping her. She tells him to be at home the next evening.
Rishi feels guilty that Lakshmi will not eat or drink for him. He remembers that he was supposed to go to the club with Malishka. He calls her to cancel the plan but she is sleeping. Rishi worries that Malishka will get very mad.
Dadi and Lakshmi get up in the morning. Neelam also comes and asks if her SARGI has come. Preetam asks Rano if she has made SARGI for Lakshmi. Rano says she has to eat first. Neelam worries that her SARGI has not come, so she can give her SARGI. Dadi says she can do that. Preetam tries to call Lakshmi from the landline, but Rano pulls the cord. He says he will call Lakshmi from Shalu’s phone.
Neelam is about to give SARGI to Lakshmi when the doorbell rings. Dadi says her SARGI has come. Preetam goes to Shalu’s room but they are not there. He closes the door and says they are sleeping. Lakshmi opens the door and Shalu and Bani have come with SARGI. Rano says she will go to PUJA in the evening, then she will apologize. Preetam says Lakshmi will not break her fast and says God will arrange for her SARGI.
Neelam thanks Shalu and Bani for bringing SARGI for Lakshmi and tells Lakshmi to eat well. Dadi tells them to chat and goes. Lakshmi says she had such amazing food, so she will not feel hungry the whole day. Lakshmi understands that Shalu has made SARGI and feels emotional. Shalu says she did it only for Lakshmi. They all hug. Bani tells that she heard that Rano was not going to make anything for her. Lakshmi feels sad. Shalu says Bani told her so they prepared everything for her. Lakshmi says she is lucky to have them as her sisters.
