At the beginning of the episode, Samrat opens Sai’s door and everyone is surprised to find her missing. Virat understands that Sai climbed down from the balcony and says she did not even care about her life to win her so-called challenge. Shivani says Sai did not do it to win some challenges, but to save her self-respect. Samrat says he was wrong to think that Sai will keep waiting for him in the room, as she is no child. Samrat says Sai did nothing wrong in running through the balcony.
Pulkit says the Chavan family does not realize what they are going to lose and will miss her once she is gone. Sai says some people like Pakhi and Virat, in fact, will be happy to see her gone. She says she wants to live in peace and focus on her studies to make her father’s dream come true and for that, she must distance herself from the Chavan family. Pulkit promises his support to her.
Sonali says Sai jumped down just to go to college. All the elders bad-mouth Sai. Devi teases them. Bhavani scolds her. Devi asks if will she lock her in the room again like before and she should also have run away just like Sai. Devi asks Virat if she locked Sai because she is like her. Virat stops her, so she says how he could do that to a normal person and expect them not to react. Virat tells her not to think like that.
Pakhi says Sai did not want to be a part of this puja and all of Virat’s efforts got wasted. She says everyone forgot that today was not about Sai, but she did not get even one day to herself. Bhavani and Mansi console her. Pakhi’s mother comes and sees her upset. Bhavani says Pakhi was missing her, that is why she got emotional. Bhavani welcomes her and says they can start the puja now. Mansi says Pakhi is fasting since morning so they should not wait anymore. Puja starts. Ashwini is worried about Sai and tries to call her. Devi convinces her to sit in puja and calls Pulkit to bring Sai along.
Pulkit thinks it seems everyone has come to know, that is why Devi is calling him again and again. He tells Sai that they must reach Chavan Nivas fast. He drives faster, so Sai says there is no need to hurry. She says Pakhi is using God’s name to show off her fake happiness. Pulkit says he is worried about Devi as both of them are not there. Pulkit says he hopes everything is ok. Sai says everything must be ok as she is not there.
Pandit Ji tells everyone to close their eyes and pray. Pakhi thinks she wants to see if Virat will save her from the fire just like he did in the Yoga retreat. She puts her end of dupatta in the fire. Samrat sees that and pulls it out and puts water on fire. He asks if Pakhi is alright. Pakhi is disappointed and thinks Virat does not care about her.
Bhavani asks Pandit ji if the fire was a bad omen. Pandit Ji says it is not, in fact, Samrat saved Pakhi from fire, strengthening their bond even further. He says Lakshmi has come to their house, just as Sai enters. Devi asks them why they are so late and why Pulkit was not picking her phone. Pulkit says he was driving. He tells Devi that she is looking nice. Karishma taunts Virat that Sai has come with Pulkit.
