At the beginning of the episode, Omkar, Mansi, and Ninad miss Ninad. Ashwini comes and tells that she spoke to Ninad and he wished all of them. Pakhi and Sonali taunt Virat and Sai for being late. Ashwini tells them not to comment on them every time. Mohit says he will call them. Ashwini says they will come before the puja, no need to call them.
Sai goes towards Virat’s room and remembers what DIG told her. She thinks about all that Virat did for her and stands outside the door. She thinks she will ask Virat if he loves her as a wife. She goes in and is shocked to see Virat dressed up in police uniform. Virat tells her that DIG gave him shocking news and he must leave for a mission. Everyone waits for Virat and Sai and badmouths them. Ashwini says Sai must be moving to Virat’s room, so it might be taking her time.
Sai says how can he go on a mission without any prior notice. Virat says she must know that such things happen suddenly. Virat remembers that DIG told him that he will get the details once he joins duty. He tells Sai that such missions are confidential and he still does not have full information. Sai asks him if he will stay for puja as this is their first Diwali together. Virat says he does not have even that much time.
Sai thinks she had so many questions and gets emotional, so Virat tells her not to cry. Sai says she is proud of him but what about them. Virat says they will always be together as friends, but he must think of his country, not himself at the moment. He holds out his hand. Sai puts her hand in his hand. They go out together.
Pakhi taunts that they must do Virat and Sai’s puja too like LAKSHMI JI, so that they will come on time. Everyone is surprised to see Virat in uniform. Virat explains that he has been assigned a mission and he must leave immediately. Bhawani asks why he never told this before. Virat tells that DIG came to tell this and he is leading the team on a mission.
Samrat asks if it is a serious mission. Virat says he cannot share too much. Bhawani says she knows how important duty is for a police officer, but can he not stay. Ashwini says whenever Virat and Sai are away, one of them gets in danger. Virat holds Sai’s hand. Pakhi taunts if he will take Sai along with him. Virat rebukes her that they are having a serious conversation here.
Virat tells that earlier whenever they were in danger, they were fighting. He says their friendship and compatibility are like never before and Sai was shifting to his room by herself. Sai thinks she wants to ask why Virat was so worried about her during her accident when they have become friends only now. He says Sai will be safe with the family. Pakhi thinks when they will drop the facade of friendship and it is better than Virat goes for a mission than be close to Sai.
Virat tells Ashwini not to worry about him. He takes all elder’s blessings. Sonali tells him to focus on his mission, not on Sai. He meets everyone else. Ashwini becomes emotional. Bhawani tells her to send him off smiling on his mission. Virat looks for Sai. Sai brings AARTI THALI and tells Bhawani to do VIJAY AARTI and also gives him RAKSHA thread. Bhawani says she will not do AARTI. Everyone is shocked.
