In Zee TV’s Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile, love fills the air as Raghav goes out of his way to make Reet’s birthday special. Raghav had been busy all morning. Balloons. Streamers. Little things everywhere. He wanted Reet’s birthday to feel… special. Really special. The bed, the pillows, even the tiny chocolates on the side table. He stepped out finally, feeling proud.
But someone else was already there. She didn’t move. Just waited. Heart pounding.
Reet walked in. Her eyes went wide. She froze for a second. Then, “Oh my god!” she squealed. She ran to him. Hugged him so tight he thought he’d melt. He laughed. She laughed. The room was full of warmth—pure happiness.
Behind the curtain, Kirti pressed herself flat. Her chest heaved. How dare they? How could she look so happy? That stupid smile. That laugh. It burned Kirti from the inside.
Then the phone rang. Sharp. Loud. Reet jumped. “What was that?” she asked. Raghav checked. Nothing. He frowned. Something was off.
He saw the curtain. Kirti. Hidden. Heart in his throat. He gently guided Reet to the bed. “Sit. Calm down.” Slowly, he pulled the curtain. Kirti froze. Their eyes met. Everything paused. Fear. Shock. Tension.
He swallowed. “It’s okay. Nothing happened.” Reet believed him immediately. She lay down. Relaxed. Smiled.
Kirti didn’t wait. Slipped away quietly. Raghav exhaled. Relief. Tension. Mixed. He turned to Reet. Held her. Whispered, “I love you.”
Next morning. Rose petals. Morning sun. Her laughter. His smile. Perfect. But somewhere, Kirti’s jealousy was waiting. Quiet. Dark. Patient.
Kirti sneaks into the decorated bedroom and is instantly consumed by jealousy. Seeing the romantic setup meant for Reet burns her from within. Her anger grows as she mutters that Raghav cannot betray her like this. The sight of his love for Reet only fuels her frustration, and she struggles to control her emotions.
Kirti is about to lose her temper when she hears Raghav’s voice. She gets scared and hides behind the curtain. Raghav brings Reet into the room with her eyes closed. When Reet opens them, she sees the decorations and becomes very happy. She laughs and thanks Raghav. The surprise works.
Reet hugs Raghav and stays close to him. They talk softly and spend time together. Kirti watches from behind the curtain. Seeing them together makes her jealous and angry.
Then a phone rings. Reet hears it and tells Raghav. He checks his phone, but there is no call. Reet feels something is wrong. She says she feels someone else is there and asks who is hiding.
Raghav understands immediately. He stops Reet and makes her sit on the bed. He goes to the curtain himself. When he pulls it aside, Kirti is there. She is scared. Raghav is shocked but hides it. He tells Reet nothing is there.
Reet believes him. Raghav asks her to sleep because it is late. She agrees. The lights are turned off.
In the dark, Kirti quietly leaves the room. Raghav feels relieved once she is gone. He turns to Reet, holds her, and says he loves her.
The next morning, Reet wakes up to rose petals falling on her. She is happy. Raghav wants her to feel safe and loved.
Kirti, however, is not done. Her jealousy is still there. She wants to break their relationship.
