The courtroom is dead quiet. The judge speaks… Kalikant Thakur is innocent. No evidence. No witnesses. Just like that. Kalikant’s face lights up. He smiles. Big. Proud. He grabs Suraj and hugs him tight. Suraj… he doesn’t move. He just stands there. Frozen. Jagriti… she can’t even breathe. Tears fall. Her heart feels like it’s breaking into pieces.
