At the beginning of the episode, Nima while walking out of the park says to herself that she and Suresh have different paths and have crossed it a few times in the past twenty years but never intruded in each other’s lives since then. She says her world has gotten small, she only now wants what’s best for her girls and builds their future.
Manya and Siya are walking down the street where two boys sitting on their bikes near a tea stall, tease them. Manya walks up to them and introduces herself and asks for their number making them uncomfortable and running away from there. Manya then goes back to Siya and tells her to not be so scared of everything. Siya says to manya to not be so extroverted and fight in every situation, she tells her that she is already scared of what they are going to do, and above that she is fought with someone. Manya tells her that she doesn’t be scared of it as she is with her and their mother will be very happy to see the gift.
Varun in the colony is making a rap video with his friends. Nari crosses him with the cake she brought for Nima’s birthday. She laughs at Varun, he stops her and asks why she is laughing at him and takes the cake from her hand and eats it and throws the rest on the floor. Nari gets emotional but then picks up the cake and stops Varun and throws the cake on his face.
At home, Nari gets stressed about the cake. Manya returns and asks her why she is so stressed and Nari tells her about Varun and the cake. Manya says they will make halwa cake instead. Manya then tells Nari that she and Siya bought a second-hand scooter for Nima as a birthday gift for twenty thousand rupees. Nari tells Manya that Nima won’t be happy and they will fight again as she has wasted money. Manya says that Siya is now earning and they don’t need to worry about whether they can afford it or not. Sarla brings cake for Nima and Nari becomes happy.
Tulika cleans Varun’s face and gets angry at him for losing the fight with Nari. Varun gets angry at his grandmother who is continuously saying something to him while he is ranting to Tulika about Nari.
Nima comes home and her kids with Sarla celebrate her birthday. Siya gives her the news that she got the job at the bank. Manya then blindfolds Nima and takes her outside to show her gift. When Nima sees the gift and she is in shock, but before she could say something tuleka shouts at her and asks Nima to tell her daughter to apologize to Varun. Nima takes the stand for Nari and says she will apologize when Varun does. Inside their house, Nima gets angry for buying such an expensive gift and asks Siya to return it first thing in the morning.
