The episode starts with Sagar telling Anupama that she hasn’t been taking care of herself and has caught a cold. Nandita suggests he get married so someone can take care of Anu di. Sagar jokes, asking if getting married will bring a wife, not a doctor. Nandita counters, saying the wife could be a doctor, saving on medical expenses. He asks if he should sacrifice himself, and she teases him to get on a horse and marry a doctor. Anupama prays to God for a nice doctor to come into his life. Sagar says she should first pray that he becomes a lawyer; otherwise, which doctor will marry him? Anupama reassures him that he will get whoever is destined for him. Sagar brushes off the bad luck from her and tells her to always be happy, mentioning that her Anuj is very handsome. Anupama recalls Anuj saying the same thing and decides to talk to Shruti to clear her doubts. She calls Shruti, but her phone is switched off. Anupama wonders why Shruti’s phone is off, as she never switches it off, and worries about what might have happened.
She wonders, “Where is my Choti?” and calls out, “Anuj… where is Choti?” Unsure of whom to contact, she recalls calling Ankush Bhai, who had assured her that Anuj was fine and Choti was in a hostel. Now worried that he might have lied, she fears for her Choti’s whereabouts.
Meanwhile, Anuj is sitting in the lawn, watching his coffee go cold. He moves to a chair, picks up a pen and a register. Anupama sees him holding the pen and becomes hopeful, thinking he might express his feelings and remember something. But Anuj merely scribbles on the paper, leaving Anupama saddened. Bala reassures her, promising to keep an eye on Anuj 24 hours a day and not let him go anywhere. Anupama thanks him, and Bala encourages her, believing that she is the only one who can help Anuj recover. Anupama vows to do whatever it takes to make him better. Bala wishes her good luck, and Anupama is determined that Anuj will soon express his emotions.
Sagar informs Anupama that he has repaired Babu ji’s room fan, and Anupama is glad that Babu ji can sleep peacefully now. Sagar then asks about the lady coming to give them a donation. Anupama says it’s Meenakshi and asks him to pick her up from the airport.
Elsewhere, Baa calls Vanraj. He tells her not to call from behind and to speak up. She asks him to pick up Meenu from the airport. He says the driver will do it, noting that Meenu lives alone in Russia. He warns her not to get too attached to Meenu, as she will leave someday, and declares he won’t get attached either. Turning around, he sees Anuj and asks what he is doing outside instead of inside. Vanraj taunts Anuj, saying he was once powerful and now is a shadow of his former self, blaming Anupama Joshi for his downfall. He accuses her of ruining lives, including Anuj’s, and suggests that she will continue to do so.
Anupama overhears Vanraj and warns him to stay away from Anuj. Vanraj retorts that she should keep away from Anuj as well and tells her to ensure the Asha Bhavan members don’t enter his compound. Anupama agrees. As Vanraj turns to leave, Anupama’s pallu gets stuck on his bag, causing her to fall. Anuj catches her, and they share a moment. Vanraj looks on disapprovingly. Anuj then attacks Vanraj, grabbing his collar. Toshu arrives, and Anuj grabs his collar too. The Ashram residents rush in to restrain Anuj. A security guard tries to intervene, but Anupama stops him. Bala and others manage to take Anuj inside. Anupama apologizes to Vanraj, asking him not to escalate the issue. Vanraj insists Anuj cannot stay there because of the children in his house. Toshu calls Anuj a psycho and suggests throwing him out. Anupama warns him, and Vanraj threatens to file a police complaint against Anuj. Anupama tells them to do whatever they want. Vanraj tells Toshu that he will ensure Anuj leaves, using the incident to tarnish Anupama’s image. Anupama apologizes to the neighbors, assuring them that Anuj will not repeat his actions. She remains hopeful, believing Anuj still has a place for her in his heart, and thanks Kanha ji.
Sagar hands a flute to Anuj, saying it looks good in his hands. Indra leaves to get something, and Bala promises to return soon. Anuj sees a photo frame of Aadhya and himself, and memories start to flash in his mind. Anupama approaches, expressing her hope after the recent incident, asking if he remembers anything about Shruti, Ankush Bhai, or Barkha, and inquires about Choti’s whereabouts. Anuj starts crying and panicking, holding her pallu, and falls asleep.
At home, Kinjal questions Toshu about Vanraj’s behavior, arguing that he knew about Anuj’s condition and shouldn’t have escalated the situation. Toshu defends Vanraj, and Baa adds that Anuj looked like he was going to attack Vanraj. Kinjal explains it’s because Anuj is mentally unwell, but Dimpy insists he should be confined to a hospital or at least kept at home to prevent any danger to their children. Pakhi worries about Anuj breaking her car. Kinjal scolds them, reminding them of Anuj’s past help and support, including getting Toshu out of jail and helping Pakhi and Dimpy in tough times. Toshu retorts that Anuj had shown attitude towards them, and now it’s their turn. Pakhi argues that they shouldn’t risk their lives or their children’s safety for him. Toshu decides to file a police complaint to get Anuj out of the neighborhood. Meanwhile, Anuj, crying, rests his head on Anupama’s lap.
