Anupama 28 July Episode starts with Anupama preparing the aarti plate for Meenu. Anuj arrives, and Anupama asks if he needs anything. He takes some sweets and starts eating. Anupama wipes his chin with her pallu. He offers her the sweets, and she recalls a time when Anuj had stolen a peda, calling him “pati parmeshwar.” Anuj corrects her saying it’s “I spy,” not “eyes spies,” but Anupama, in her playful way, says she will still “eyes spies.” He insists on eating the Prasad, but she warns him that he’ll gain weight and should be mindful of his health. Anuj complains that Indian wives never let their husbands enjoy sweets, but Anupama insists he put them down. They tussle over the sweets, which fall on the sofa. Anuj eats the sweets from her hand, making her call him naughty. He jokingly asks for some spice, calling her spicy. She smiles, stands up, and wipes his chin. Flashback ends.
Anupama requests Anuj not to take this right from her. Bala arrives, informing Anupama that Sagar will reach soon. He asks if everything will be fine, and Anupama assures him.
Meanwhile, Sagar is driving the auto with Meenu. She asks if he doesn’t get wet in the rain. Sagar responds with a saying about protecting wealth from rain, stating that the body and heart only get drenched in water. Meenu instructs him to focus on driving and mentions missing India.
Sagar stops the auto to help Savita cross the road. Savita mentions her need to go to court and her poor vision. Meenu suggests they can accommodate another person in the auto. Savita asks if her work was completed, and Sagar confirms that the papers were notarized. Meenu, curious, asks Sagar if he’s a lawyer. He replies that he’s a student and soon will be LLB, adding that without the blessing of Saraswati Maa (goddess of knowledge), Lakshmi Maa (goddess of wealth) doesn’t come.
Children are playing cricket nearby. A ball hits Bala, who humorously punishes them by asking to join their game. Bala bats first but gets out upon seeing Indra. Ansh bats next and accidentally hits the ball at Indra. The kids hide, leaving Bala to take the blame. Indra gets upset, but Bala assures the kids he will smooth things over.
Meenu asks Sagar to stop the auto and gets down. She approaches a pani puri vendor and apologizes for leaving, declaring her love for pani puri, surprising Sagar. She invites him to join her, but he declines, watching her fondly.
Back home, Baa asks Kinjal if the aarti plate is ready. Kinjal confirms and mentions placing flowers in a room. Ansh teases Baa about her slow walking, comparing her to a grandmother. Vanraj advises her to rest, but Baa, emphasizing the importance of grandchildren, insists on staying active. She tells Kinjal she will understand this feeling when Ansh goes abroad to study.
Dimpy receives a call from a friend and tells Titu about an event. She asks Titu to join her, but he refuses because of Meenu’s arrival. Dimpy argues, missing their pre-marriage romance. Titu reminisces about their old days and suggests they go out in the rain, but Dimpy scoffs at the idea, leading to an argument. Titu expresses his desire for a daughter, inspired by the love his mother shows for her adopted children. Dimpy angrily accuses him of wanting his own biological child and refuses to have another.
Nandita puts a baby in a cradle, hoping she grows up to fight for women’s rights. Sushil, her husband, enters and takes the baby. Nandita calls for help. Titu intervenes, rescuing the baby and returning her to Nandita. Anupama thanks Titu, who responds that there’s no need to thank family. Anupama urges Nandita to punish Sushil, who rants about daughters being a curse. Nandita slaps him, calling him the curse instead. Bala takes Sushil to the police station. Nandita fears retaliation, but Anupama encourages her to be strong. Titu holds the baby, who grips his finger, symbolizing a life-changing moment. Titu leaves after this.
Sagar arrives with Meenu. Anupama asks for the aarti plate and sees Meenu, who calls her Mami and hugs her. Anupama is overjoyed and fusses over Meenu’s hair and absence. Sagar realizes he brought the right Meenu. Anupama recalls the little girl who used to cling to her pallu. Vanraj watches with a mix of emotions as Anupama smiles at Meenu.
