It is night in Mumbai. Anupama is awake, sitting quietly and thinking. She looks tired. Leela and Hasmuk come there with tea. Anupama is surprised to see them awake and asks why they didn’t sleep. Leela says they just woke up and made tea like that. Anupama understands there is more to it, but she accepts the tea and says she really needed it.
When they try to leave, Anupama stops them and asks directly what is wrong. Hasmuk tells her the truth. Mumbai is not easy for them. Everything feels too fast and too loud. They miss Ahmedabad and the life they were used to. Anupama listens calmly. She doesn’t argue or explain much. She decides to take them to her shooting set so they can see what her life here is like.
While talking to them, Anupama also worries about Bharti and wonders if she has reached Rajini’s house yet.
Bharti and Varun reach Rajini’s house around the same time. Rajini welcomes them, but she clearly says she likes privacy and doesn’t keep many guests. She talks politely, but it feels formal. She asks Bharti to come in and tells Varun to show her the room. Varun avoids it and tells the house help to do it instead. He doesn’t show much interest.
That moment feels awkward and distant. Rajini praises Varun outwardly, but her attention shifts to a file in her hands. Internally, she reassures herself that no one can snatch this document from her, hinting at secrets powerful enough to shake lives.
Back in the city’s buzzing social circles, Pakhi bumps into Diwaker at a college reunion and admits she never expected him to show up. Diwaker quickly steers the conversation toward her personal life, bluntly discussing her marriage and divorce. Instead of discomfort, Pakhi feels seen. Diwaker assures her that she’ll never be alone and that he’ll always support her. His words melt Pakhi’s guarded heart, and she begins developing feelings for him. The audience, however, is shown Diwaker’s real thoughts. He considers Pakhi naive and foolish, seeing her not as a partner but as a tool to get closer to Rahi. The charm is calculated, not sincere.
Meanwhile, romance blooms genuinely elsewhere. Prem surprises Rahi with a gift, and her happiness is immediate and unfiltered. The two share a soft, romantic dance moment, filled with laughter and comfort. It’s the kind of moment that feels safe and real. But not everyone watching feels the same warmth. Prerna stands at a distance, silently observing them, her expressions revealing jealousy she refuses to acknowledge.
At Rajini’s house, Varun finally talks to her. He yells at her and blames her for ruining his life. Rajini doesn’t react. She warns him that Bharti is a good girl and that she is close to Anupama. She tells him to just follow her instructions.
Varun keeps teasing her. He says Prerna is staying with Anupama and mocks Rajini, saying she can’t control Prerna.
Rajini looks a little surprised for a moment but hides it and stays calm.
Bharti hears their argument. She comes out of her room. She looks nervous. She says the house feels too big and scary.
Rajini comforts her. She talks gently and reassures her. Her manipulative side is back.
At Anupama’s place, both Anupama and Preet miss Bharti. When Bharti finally calls, the relief is obvious. During the conversation, Bharti notices a paper bearing Anupama’s signature. She innocently asks about it, and for a moment, Rajini freezes. Anupama, unaware of any hidden meaning, asks Bharti what’s wrong. Bharti simply praises Anupama’s signature, unknowingly diffusing the tension. Rajini sighs. She thinks Bharti will tell Anupama things. She tells Bharti to watch Varun.
Later, Pakhi and Diwaker share another moment, this time overlooking Mumbai’s nightscape. Pakhi asks him to stop staring at her and look at the city. Diwaker flirts effortlessly, saying his entire world is already in front of him. Pakhi blushes, clearly smitten. Soon after, Diwaker notices a photo of Rahi, and his interest sharpens. His target is clear.
Night gets quieter, but no one really sleeps.
Prerna stays awake, her thoughts going in circles. She finally talks to Anupama and says what she has been holding inside. She wants to open a restaurant. She wants to do it properly, and she wants Anupama to guide her.
Anupama listens, the same way she always does. She doesn’t overthink it. She simply says she will help. Fully. From the heart.
From a distance, Rahi notices them together. Anupama talking to Prerna, giving her time and attention. Something about it doesn’t sit right with her. She can’t tell if it’s jealousy, insecurity, or just a feeling she doesn’t understand yet.
She stays quiet, but the discomfort lingers.
Prem, too, can’t sleep. In the dark, half-asleep and confused, he assumes Rahi is nearby and ends up hugging Prerna by mistake. The moment turns explosive when Rahi walks in. Shocked and hurt, she confronts Prem. He immediately explains it was an accident, but Prerna complicates matters by claiming Prem had called her to meet him. Rahi’s anger flares. Prem urges Prerna to tell the truth, and eventually, she admits she was joking. Rahi firmly reminds Prerna that jokes have limits and boundaries matter. Prem supports Rahi, adding that if Prerna cannot manage her own relationship, she should at least respect others’. The lines are drawn clearly.
Anupama sees Pakhi with a man at night. She feels something is wrong.
