Anupama 6th January 2026 Written Update: Pakhi’s Secret, Rajini’s Game, and a Storm Waiting to Break
The episode starts quietly. There is tension in the air. Diwaker decides to meet Pakhi in Ahmedabad. This already seems risky. Anupama sees Pakhi coming back late. She sees her with a man for a moment. Before she can see his face clearly, he goes away. Only questions are left.
Anupama’s concern kicks in immediately. She questions Pakhi about staying out so late and, more importantly, about the kind of example she is setting for Ishani. Pakhi, instead of feeling even a little guilty, reacts with irritation. She snaps at Anupama, asks her not to spoil her mood, and casually mentions she has come back from a reunion. The real sting comes when Pakhi tells Anupama not to stay awake so late at her age, a line that lands like a slap. Anupama is left standing there, stunned, wondering when her daughter turned into someone so dismissive, so cold, and so distant.
The scene shifts to the kitchen, offering a brief change in mood. Anupama asks Prerna to chop faster and is genuinely impressed by her knife skills. There’s a lightness here, a reminder of Anupama’s love for food and mentoring. Prerna shares her dream of opening her own restaurant, with Anupama’s guidance, of course. Rajini soon invites Anupama and everyone to her house after Bharti’s ritual. Prerna doesn’t even try to hide her dislike. She calls Rajini fake and flatly refuses to go. Anupama steps in, gently but firmly asking Prerna to maintain basic decency, at least in front of her. At the same time, Anupama senses that Prerna’s words carry a deeper warning, as if she’s trying to say something without saying it outright. When Anupama assures Rajini that she will visit her home along with Prerna, Rajini looks relieved. That relief isn’t innocent. It’s the relief of someone who knows a truth that Anupama doesn’t.
Behind the scenes, Rajini meets the builder and pushes him to begin the work soon, reminding him of their partnership deal. This conversation confirms that Rajini is playing a long, calculated game. Meanwhile, Rahi helps Prerna take pictures, and the conversation between the two women becomes far more revealing. Prerna directly asks Rahi if she feels insecure after her arrival. Rahi, instead of reacting defensively, turns the question around and asks Prerna why she hates Rajini so much.
Prerna finally opens up. She admits she despises Rajini and her double standards. She makes it clear that she has no lingering feelings for Prem and tells Rahi never to doubt him, because his love is genuine. Her words are honest, almost raw. Prerna admits she never really received love in her life, except from her father. She adds, with a mix of bitterness and clarity, that Varun irritates her and Rajini only loves her chair, her power, and her position. Prerna warns Rahi that Rajini befriends people only when it serves her interests and urges her to protect Anupama from her. This confession validates Rahi’s instincts. She decides it’s time to stop relying on gut feelings and start collecting proof.
As the preparations continue, Rahi informs Anupama that she needs to leave. Prerna tells Anupama she has crushed the spices and suddenly starts talking about love, almost philosophically. Anupama, juggling too many things at once, urges both Rahi and Prerna to work faster because Bharti is arriving with Rajini and Varun.
Elsewhere, Rajini speaks to Parag, who bluntly asks how Anupama managed to secure the NOC. Rajini replies with a smirk that the chawl residents blindly follow Anupama like a pied piper. Parag considers calling Anupama, but Rajini stops him, suggesting he do it only after the demolition begins. When Parag senses that Rajini is hiding something and questions her, she ignores him. Instead, she orders Varun to act fast and bring Prerna home before she spills the truth to Anupama. The urgency in her voice exposes her fear.
Parag then updates Khyati and Vasundhara, telling them that Anupama is indirectly helping with the chawl project. He suggests inviting Anupama to Prarthana’s baby shower. Vasundhara immediately worries about the Shahs attending, clearly uncomfortable with Anupama’s presence even when she’s being helpful.

Anupama is genuinely confused, unable to understand how she has helped Parag at all. Parag and Rajini, on the other hand, grow visibly restless.
