In the beginning of the episode, At the engagement party Rishi hears his Dadi and Virendra talking to each other about what they should tell the guests about Lakshmi and Rishi’s relationship. Rishi tells them that they should just say to them that he loves Malishka and the marriage with Lakshmi will end in 3 months, and asks them to remember to say that Lakshmi was the one who asked for divorce. Virendra starts smiling and he says to him that even when he is getting engaged to Malishka, he is still talking about Lakshmi.
Rishi gets away from there and Ayush follows him, Rishi says to him that what he is thinking is not true. Ayush says he is just thinking that he is upset with Lakshmi and wants to get engaged to Malishka as she has never hurt him. Rishi says that why she is not here yet, Ahana says she will take time. Rishi says when it’s his engagement why will Lakshmi take time and goes to his room. Ahana says to Ayush that she was talking about Malishka, but Rishi is stuck on Lakshmi. Ayush says to her that Rishi and Lakshmi have so much anger for each other that they need to just fight and get over it.
Rishi looks for Lakshmi in their room and screams for Lakshmi to come out, when she doesn’t respond he gets angry. A staff member comes there and asks him where Lakshmi is, he says that he doesn’t know. Meanwhile, Lakshmi arrives at Ranno’s house and Shalu opens the door and she and Bani are surprised to see her there. Lakshmi says to Ranno that she won’t go to the engagement as she is feeling awkward there, Ranno taunts her that she is in love with Rishi that’s why it’s impossible for her to see him get engaged.
Rishi calls Lakshmi, she goes to her room and picks up her phone. He asks her to return to the party, as she is irritating him by not being here. He says to her that wander to be in the engagement party as he wants her to see that he is happy and wants to move on with Malishka. Lakshmi asks him if he wasn’t worried for her then why he called her, he says to tell her that he is happy and wants her out of his life. Lakshimi goes outside and tells Ranno to get ready as they are going to the engagement party.
Malishka comes to the party and Neelam welcomes her and praises her for how she looks. She then meets Rishi and says she likes him when he is smiling, Rishi says that she’s the reason he smiles. Lakshmi arrives at the door of the Oberoi mansion.
