In the beginning of the episode, Lakshmi arrives at the Oberoi mansion. Rishi looks at her and she comes inside and asks Rishi if he got engaged already. He asks why she is asking if she is here to not let that happen, she says she is here to make it happen and congratulates him. He doesn’t leave her hand, she asks him to leave and everyone looks at them. He says to her how many times he had to tell her that he doesn’t like someone leaving without finishing the conversation, he says thank you for coming and leaves her hand.
Bani says to Lakshmi that the situation is very awkward and asks her to go upstairs to her room. She says to her that if she wanted to go to the room she wouldn’t have come from Ranno’s house. She says that Rishi has said to her that it will make him happy that she sees him get engaged. Rishi goes towards his family and hugs Malishka, he says to them that Lakshmi went back to her house and he called and asked her to attend. He says he did as he wants to make Lakshmi see how happy he and Malishka are, Malishka says that she is so happy to see the old Rishi.
Ahana goes away from there and takes a glass of water, Dadi comes there and asks her what’s troubling her. She says that she is just feeling a little bad for Lakshmi as she is alone and suffering. Dadi says that Lakshmi also chose money and divorce over family, so they have to stick with Rishi. Dadi asks Ahana to cheer up as everything good will happen.
Lakshmi stumbles into Malishka’s father. She offers to bring him something to drink, he refuses and says to her that as he is of her father’s age he wants to give her some advice. She says to him that her father died early but then she got Rishi’s father’s love and she is blessed to have him, Vierendra comes there and says to her to not say these things anymore as she has broken every relationship. Malishka’s father says it’s his advice that she leaves this house as soon as it is all Malishka’s.
Malishka sees Shalu and stops her and says that she is happy that she took her invitation and is here to see her marry Rishi, and see her sister become the servant. Shalu says to her that if Rishi wouldn’t have pitied her things would have been different, she would still be known as the third woman. Malishka hugs Shalu and says but the reality is that Rishi is getting engaged to her and it’s all because of her article. Bani comes there and says to Shalu that she is the one to be blamed. She says she will make it alright, as the only one who can help her is Ayush.
