At the beginning of the episode, Lakshmi goes to the small temple on the roadside and prays to Mata Rani for Rishi’s safety. The woman shows her the direction where to go. Lakshmi goes that way limping. The woman says it is God’s will that Lakshmi even forgot her injury for her husband.
Priest tells Malishka that PHERAS can not happen in such a weather but she insists. Malishka tells Rishi to get up and ties their DUPATTAS for the ritual. Lakshmi manages to reach Malishka’s house. She thanks God for helping her. She knocks on the door but no-one can hears her as there is no power. Rain starts pouring down. Priest says PHERAS cannot take place this way, but Malishka says they will still do it. Fire gets extinguished. Priest says it is a bad omen. Lakshmi goes to the lawn. She is surprised to see the decorations. Rishi and Malishka go inside. Lakshmi gets hurt in her foot.
Virendra wants to go to find Lakshmi but Karishma and Dadi stop him. Neelam says Ayush will go to find her. Karishma blames Lakshmi for not telling them earlier. Dadi scolds Karishma. Soniya supports Karishma so Virendra tells her to not talk between elders and shut up.
Rishi calls Neelam to tell that he is alright. He tells that he is at Malishka’s house and disconnects. They thank God. Malishka tells Rishi to get ready so that they can get married indoors. Lakshmi cries in pain. Malishka asks Rishi to get her Mangalsutra from the Mandap. Lakshmi manages to get up. She is surprised to see the Mandap. She thinks of ringing the bell as power comes back. Rishi comes out to Mandap. Lakshmi gets a bad feeling again. Rishi picks up the Mangalsutra. Mandap breaks down and falls on Rishi.
Karishma thanks God that all of them are indoors and safe. Neelam says the situation is the same as 2006 floods. Virendra says she is relaxed now as she knows Rishi is safe now but he is worried about Lakshmi. Neelam says he will never understand her.
Lakshmi goes towards Rishi who has become unconscious. She asks Rishi to open his eyes. Malishka hears Lakshmi’s voice. She is shocked to see Rishi and goes running to him. Lakshmi tires to pull Rishi from under the pillars. Fire starts due to short-circuit. Lakshmi manages to pull up the pillar as Malishka watches her. Lakshmi gets a sheet and wraps it around Rishi.
Lakshmi sees Malishka and asks her to help her. They pull him inside and put Rishi in bed. Lakshmi asks Malishka to call the doctor. Malishka tries mobile and landline but there is no network. Lakshmi tries to revive Rishi frantically and rubs his hands and feet. Lakshmi tells Malishka that she will get the doctor. Malishka tells her that she is hurt and weather is also bad. Lakshmi says nothing should happen to Rishi even if something happens to her. Malishka realises how much Lakshmi loves Rishi and thinks maybe God does not want them to be married. She wonders if she should step away from Rishi and Lakshmi’s life.
