Scene 1: Deepika’s Struggle
Deepika frantically tries to escape from Birju, but he grips her tightly and forcefully pins her to the ground. Her eyes dart around the room, desperately seeking an escape. Just then, Chirag, who happens to be nearby, hears a faint sound. His instincts sharpen, and he calls out, asking if someone is there. Deepika seizes the moment and calls out for help, her voice trembling with fear.
Chirag doesn’t hesitate. He rushes towards the sound, breaking the door open with a powerful kick. The door swings wide, revealing the horrific scene. Without wasting a second, Chirag pulls Birju away from Deepika and begins to pummel him, his fists fueled by rage. As the scuffle intensifies, Shobha, Jahnvi, and Manorama, who were getting ready to leave the Mittal house, are interrupted by the commotion. Lavanya, sensing something amiss, asks Jahnvi to stay back a bit longer. Jahnvi, unaware of the situation, casually mentions that she needs to visit the gym, citing that “health is wealth.” Prithvi, with a proud smirk, adds that he takes care of his health and already possesses a lot of wealth. Jahnvi then inquires about Chirag’s whereabouts. Lavanya tries to brush off the concern, saying he must have gone to the hospital.
Scene 2: The Fight Continues
Back at the scene, Birju momentarily overpowers Chirag and snarls that he is Deepika’s would-be husband, demanding to know who Chirag is. Chirag, undeterred, delivers a swift kick to Birju, forcing him back. With anger blazing in his eyes, Chirag declares that no one has the right to touch a woman without her consent. Birju, realizing he’s losing, scrambles to escape. As he flees, his mind is filled with thoughts of revenge against both Deepika and Chirag.
Chirag, breathing heavily, turns to Deepika, who is visibly shaken. He gently pulls her into a comforting embrace. Deepika clings to him, her body trembling from the shock. Chirag holds her tightly, trying to calm her down. After a moment, he offers her a glass of water and softly tells her to relax, assuring her that her father will be home soon.
Scene 3: Yashwant’s Guilt
Soon after, Yashwant returns home and is stunned by the disarray. His eyes widen in shock as he takes in the sight of his distressed daughter. With a voice laced with worry, he asks Deepika what happened. Her voice quivers as she says, “Birju…”
Chirag, still seething, questions Yashwant about his inquiries into Birju’s background. Yashwant, now filled with guilt, admits that he had asked Birju’s neighbors and shopkeeper, all of whom had given positive feedback. His voice cracks as he blames himself for not being more thorough. Deepika quickly interjects, asking him not to blame himself, insisting that he did his duty as a father.
Chirag, seeing the weight of guilt on Yashwant’s shoulders, steps in to comfort him. He assures Yashwant that he is a good father and that he shouldn’t be too hard on himself. However, he sternly advises him not to listen to others’ opinions blindly and to never let Birju near Deepika again. Yashwant, deeply remorseful, acknowledges that Deepika is a pure-hearted girl and his pride, but he realizes he was about to entrust her to the wrong man.
Scene 4: Filing the Complaint
Determined to ensure justice, Chirag asks Yashwant to send him Birju’s photo and address to file a police complaint. He quickly forwards the details to the police inspector. As the situation calms down, Deepika quietly approaches Chirag with a first-aid kit to tend to his hand injury. Chirag, with a slight smile, teases her, asking if she plans to treat a doctor. Deepika, undeterred, says she’s just trying to help. She expresses her gratitude, saying she has always protected her dignity and never wished harm upon anyone, and thanks Chirag for saving her from Birju in the nick of time.
Chirag, his voice barely above a whisper, murmurs that he will always protect her. The depth of his words lingers in the air as he leaves the room. While driving, Chirag’s mind races with thoughts of Deepika. He imagines her sitting beside him in the car, her presence so vivid that it almost feels real. The serial’s title track plays softly in the background as realization dawns upon him—he is in love with Deepika.
