Scene 1: Tension at the Bhosle House
Jayant informs the Bhosle family that they won’t be eating lunch, causing Shantanu to worry if they’ve done something wrong. Jayant simply replies that they’re not hungry. Meanwhile, Rajat is on the phone with his manager, arranging to attend an important meeting at the office. Raju approaches Rajat and informs him that everyone is waiting for him at the Bhosle house for lunch. Initially, Rajat refuses, citing his meeting, but Raju convinces him to attend lunch instead.
Scene 2: Dietary Concerns
Bhagyashree and Isha, concerned by Jayant’s earlier comment, ask him to explain what’s wrong. Isha reminds him that they hadn’t even eaten breakfast earlier. Janaki then reveals the issue: they are strict vegetarians and feel uncomfortable eating at the Bhosle house, which they assume serves non-vegetarian food. Savi reassures them that she anticipated this concern and has prepared food in new, separate vessels to respect their dietary restrictions. Janaki is impressed, agreeing that Savi will be a great addition to their family.
Scene 3: Lunch Gathering
As everyone prepares to sit down for lunch, Isha notes that Raju hasn’t arrived yet. Just then, Raju enters with Rajat, and everyone sits down to eat. During lunch, Savi and Rajat share a sweet moment, spurred on by Mrunmayi’s teasing. Later, Janaki gives Savi a gift. The Pandit then asks if anyone has any conditions to state before the marriage. Bhagyashree mentions that since Rajat earns well, they have no demands. However, Isha steps forward with a condition: she insists that Savi must be allowed to continue teaching even after marriage. Bhagyashree questions the necessity, but Rajat agrees. Isha then adds another condition—that Rajat must support Savi in pursuing her dream of studying for the IAS exam. Rajat and his family agree, and the Pandit declares that the ritual has been completed perfectly.
Scene 4: A Child’s Gesture
At school, the Teacher inspects the gifts the children have prepared and notices that Sai has made a ring for Rajat. The Teacher suggests that Sai give it to her father, but Sai mentions that she lives with her mother and asks the Teacher to call her father instead. The Teacher agrees to the request.
Scene 5: Doubts About the Marriage
Shantanu and Isha show Savi a special ring they have chosen for her engagement with Rajat, symbolizing “love forever.” Savi, however, reminds them that she is only marrying Rajat for the sake of her child, Sai, and asks them not to have any unrealistic expectations about the marriage. Shantanu and Isha try to reassure her, suggesting that her feelings might change after marriage, but Savi remains firm in her resolve and walks away.
Scene 6: Custody Battle Tension
Rajat arrives at Sai’s school, and she is delighted to see him, eagerly preparing to give him the ring she made. However, Ashika suddenly appears and creates a scene, accusing Rajat of trying to manipulate the situation to win custody. She warns him not to meet Sai without her permission and storms off with Sai in tow. Rajat, determined, vows to win the custody battle.
Scene 7: Engagement Preparations
Radha asks Mrunmayi what “Saraj” means, and Mrunmayi explains that it’s a hashtag for Savi and Rajat. Radha approves, finding it catchy. As Rajat’s family arrives at the engagement venue, Isha is preparing to welcome them. Janaki remarks to Bhagyashree that despite winning the competition, Isha is still dressed in a traditional Marathi saree. Raju advises the family to avoid creating any unnecessary drama during the event.
