Mrunmayi takes her puppy, Chocolate, towards the elevator when Lucky exits and purposefully ignores her. Confused, Mrunmayi wonders what’s wrong. Lucky returns and apologizes for ignoring her, explaining it’s due to recent problems between their families. She tells him it’s okay.
Lucky then asks about her job interview in the Mahalakshmi area. Mrunmayi says she rejected the offer because the salary was too low. Lucky mentions that his friend works in HR and can help her find a better job. He takes her phone number but asks her not to tell Aman about it, as Aman complained to the family the last time Lucky tried to help her, causing her father to stop speaking to him.
Surprised, Mrunmayi asks if Aman really did that. Lucky pretends to be uncertain about why Aman is so jealous whenever he tries to help her. Secretly, he plans to poison her mind against Aman and gain her favor. Lucky tells her he’ll speak to his friend and let her know later, then walks away.
The next morning, Savi performs a pooja at home. Shantanu brings coffee for himself and Isha. Savi tells Isha that children have amazing energy. Isha agrees, saying children make the environment joyful and reminiscing how Savi used to follow her around when she was in school. She notes that children bring happiness into life. Savi recalls her adoption request being rejected. Shantanu signals Isha, who then offers to make thalipeet for Savi. Savi declines, saying she is getting late for work. The doorbell rings. Savi opens the door and is surprised to see Sai with Mrs. Pereira. Sai hugs her “Pari Aunty” tightly, crying. Savi asks Mrs. Pereira what happened and why they came so early. Mrs. Pereira explains that Arsh informed Sai he is sending her to a hostel soon, which upset her and made her cry. Isha remarks on how sad it is for a little kid to go to a hostel. Savi cheers up Sai and thinks that Arsh is insensitive and doesn’t know how to behave with children.
Mrs. Pereira asks Savi to take care of Sai for a while and then leaves. Savi tries to call Ashika but finds her number switched off. Isha asks where Mrs. Pereira went. Savi explains that Mrs. Pereira had to go somewhere and left Sai with her for some time. Isha asks if she informed Ashika. Savi says her phone is switched off, so Isha suggests messaging her instead. Savi sends a message to Ashika, informing her that Mrs. Pereira left Sai with her and that she will drop her home later. She then calls Rajat, who is in the bathroom and feels irritated by the call. He calls out for his family to answer the phone, but when no one responds, he goes to answer it himself and sees Savi’s call, which he ignores. Savi rings the doorbell, and Rajat, wearing a towel, opens the door. Both of them turn their backs to each other, embarrassed. Rajat receives a message from Ridhi saying she is taking their mother to a temple.
A funny argument starts between Rajat and Savi, as they blame each other as usual. Savi informs him that Sai is with her and that she plans to take her out. She assures him that she has already informed Sai’s mother and came to inform him to avoid any misunderstandings. Rajat asks where they are going, and Savi tells him the location before walking away. She then takes Sai towards her car, planning a surprise picnic. Rajat honks his car horn. Sai gets excited to see her father but hides behind Savi. Savi asks what’s wrong, and Sai says her papa will get angry seeing her with “Pari Aunty.” Rajat assures her he won’t get angry and offers to drop them off wherever they want to go. Savi refuses to take him along. Sai requests that her father come with them, so Savi agrees and asks Rajat to get into her car. Rajat says her car is too small and suggests they take his more spacious car. Savi refuses, so he reluctantly agrees to go in her car and asks the watchman to park his car in the basement.
Savi drives the car while Rajat calls Aman, asking him to handle the day’s client meeting as he is with Sai. Savi is surprised to see the workaholic Rajat giving time to his daughter. The car breaks down, and their argument starts again. Savi asks Rajat to push the car. After some drama, the car finally starts, and they drive to a mall where Savi has planned a surprise for Sai. Seeing her photo on a welcome card at a painting shop, Sai feels happy and thanks “Pari Aunty.” Rajat says he could have done it too. Savi scolds him for always trying to show off his money instead of expressing emotions. The shop employee asks Sai her favorite color for a T-shirt she will paint. Sai says white, while Rajat says pink. Sai insists on white. The shop employee brings a white T-shirt and asks her to write her favorite letters on it. Sai says “P.” Rajat suggests “papa,” but Sai says “Pari Aunty,” then “dada dadi,” etc. Rajat feels disappointed. Finally, Sai says “papa.” Savi helps her put on the T-shirt and imprints her handprints on its back, thinking about how unfortunate it is that Sai’s parents can’t come together. Rajat then adds his handprints to Sai’s T-shirt and becomes emotional.
