The 10th January episode of Jhanak turns the heat up sharply, shifting the story from whispers and suspicion to open interrogation. What began as a shocking incident now officially becomes a criminal investigation, and Jhanak finds herself standing alone in the eye of the storm. Every dialogue today feels like a loaded question, every silence like a verdict waiting to be delivered.
The episode starts with a police inspector coming to Chatterjee’s house. He says he has come for Jhanak. The atmosphere turns tense. Rishi steps in and says the family will cooperate. The inspector says it is only for investigation, not arrest, but the tension remains. The word investigation hangs heavy in the air.
Dadabhai explains that the marriage registration of Dritimaan and Sanjhbati took place that day, which is why everyone in the family was present. The inspector listens carefully and states that he wants to talk to Jhanak directly. Putul is asked to bring her, while the inspector demands a detailed explanation of what exactly happened on the day Aditi collapsed.
Indumati begins narrating the sequence of events. Tanushri quickly adds her own version, emphasizing one crucial point. She says Jhanak offered juice to Aditi, and Aditi fainted immediately after drinking it. Rishi informs the inspector that he had already submitted the juice sample for testing.
