The new episode unfolds with a quiet storm. Ved rode through the dim lanes, the bike’s headlight cutting through the cold. Saru sat behind him, quiet. Her silence felt heavier than the winter air. He stopped outside the hostel and got off first, waiting for her. He watched her like a man who had no more reasons left… but still plenty of love.
Saru wiped her tears before he could see. But Ved saw it all. Every little ache she tried to hide.
He walked her to the hostel gate and stopped her gently. His voice shook a little. “I’ll wait… the whole night,” he said. “I won’t go home. I won’t sleep. I won’t move from here.” He looked at her, eyes desperate. “If you come back before morning… I’ll know our marriage still matters to you. But if the sun rises and you don’t… I’ll know my love has been one-sided. I’ll leave your life forever.”
Her chest tightened. The finality in his words hit her hard. Yet Saru didn’t move. She was frozen, held back by a promise she made to herself—she wouldn’t return to the Birla mansion until Tara accepted her completely.
Ved walked away slowly, stopping near the hostel gate. He was ready to wait all night. His heart swung back and forth—hope… despair… hope again. Saru stayed behind the grill. Her fingers shook as she held onto the cold bars. She wanted to run to him. To tell him everything. That she never wanted to leave. That Tara’s hatred had pushed her away.
