Yeh Hain Chahatein 29 July episode begins with Arjun approaching Vikram Bakshi and holding his hand. Vikram, confused, asks what he is doing, to which Arjun whispers his identity. Vikram is surprised but happy to finally meet him. Meera inquires about the situation, and Vikram explains it’s Arjun. Arjun then reveals that it was Kashvi’s idea for him to disguise himself in a saree. Vikram compliments the disguise, but Arjun quickly shares the urgent news that Kashvi is in danger. He explains that Nagesh has captured Kashvi and is planning a slow and painful death for her. Meera mentions a place that matches the description of a sacrificial site and suggests they must save her. Arjun devises a plan: he and Vikram will search the temple while Mohan checks the nearby area.
Meanwhile, the cooks mention that the dal is ready and they need to cook the rice. They unknowingly place the utensil containing Kashvi on the stove and take the dal outside. Kashvi wakes up, feeling the heat, and realizes she’s been captured by Nagesh and put in a vessel.
Arjun, Meera, Vikram, and Mohan meet at the temple, having failed to find Kashvi. Arjun becomes enraged upon seeing Nagesh acting kindly towards a lady and giving her a sweet box with money. Meera advises Arjun to stay calm and not act impulsively, as they are in Nagesh’s territory. Suddenly, Kashvi calls out for Arjun, who realizes she is in grave danger. He hears a cook mentioning that he forgot to light the stove after putting the rice. Realizing they intend to burn Kashvi alive, Arjun rushes to the kitchen, removes the lid from the utensil, and finds Kashvi inside. With Vikram’s help, Arjun rescues Kashvi from the vessel.
In another scene, Mahinder goes to Devraj and asks him not to reveal that he is being freed. Devraj acknowledges Mahinder’s decision, despite the risk to his career. They get into a car, but Raunaq arrives with the police, accusing Mahinder of illegal activity. Mahinder admits to forging signatures to release Devraj and argues that he is acting out of love for his family. Raunaq refuses to let them go and instructs the police to take Devraj into custody. Meanwhile, Nitya’s car breaks down, and she urges the driver to hurry.
Back at the scene, Arjun instructs Meera to pour water on Kashvi to cool her down. Grateful for her rescue, Kashvi thanks Arjun, who heard her calls for help. Meera informs them that Raunaq and Mahinder are coming to confront Nagesh. Arjun advises Kashvi to rest but she insists on continuing the mission, which she deems important. Arjun agrees but tells her to rest until Raunaq and Mahinder arrive. He then asks Vikram and Meera to stay with her while he and Mohan keep an eye on Nagesh.
Nitya and Karun reach Karla Nagar. Jagdish calls Nitya repeatedly, and she finally answers, making excuses about their whereabouts. Karun grabs the phone and tells Jagdish that he is there to catch his father and the woman involved, vowing to expose them. Jagdish, concerned, questions Nitya, who defends her actions and insists that Karun found out on his own. She internally worries about the repercussions of Karun seeing Arjun with Kashvi, fearing a dramatic fallout.
Jagdish informs Arjun that Nitya and Karun have arrived in Karla Nagar. Arjun, puzzled by his mother’s decision to bring Karun, watches them as they approach.
