Scene 1: Kashvi’s Heartbreak
Kashvi tells Dadi that she witnessed Arjun and Meera’s wedding. Dadi, surprised, asks if she was present there. Kashvi explains that she arrived just as Meera lifted Arjun’s sehra. She is devastated, crying over Arjun’s betrayal, especially when she was about to share good news. Dadi inquires about the news, but Kashvi feels it’s now meaningless. She reflects on her hopes of starting a new life with Arjun, now shattered.
Scene 2: Meera’s Grief
Meera questions Vikram if he asked Arjun to marry her and inquires about Mohan’s whereabouts. At that moment, ward boys bring in Mohan’s dead body on a stretcher. The doctor asks Arjun to sign for the body. Meera, seeing Mohan’s mehendi hand, is shocked and uncovers his face, recalling their moments together and shouting his name. She is in disbelief, pleading with Mohan to wake up on their wedding day. Arjun signs the papers, and the ward boys take Mohan’s body away. Vikram explains to Meera that Mohan was electrocuted while fixing lights and died. Meera accuses Vikram of forcing her into another marriage, but Vikram insists he couldn’t let her become a mother without being married. Meera declares that the baby is her and Mohan’s decision, not anyone else’s.
Scene 3: Arjun’s Confession
Arjun recalls telling Vikram to keep Karun’s identity a secret. He tries to explain to Meera that he understands the social stigma her baby might face and insists he acted out of concern. Meera argues that they have no romantic feelings for each other and Arjun loves Kashvi. Arjun admits his love for Kashvi but says she is leaving, and Karun will never accept her. He feels compelled to secure a future for his son. Meera remains determined to raise her child alone, but Vikram argues that it will be difficult. He reassures her that Arjun will be a good husband, though Meera refuses to accept the marriage.
Scene 4: Dadi’s Advice
Dadi advises Kashvi to drink water and suggests she should talk to Arjun to understand his reasons for marrying Meera. Kashvi adamantly refuses, stating she will never speak to him again. Dadi urges her to seek the truth about Arjun’s actions and confront him once.
Scene 5: Arjun’s Proposal to Meera
Arjun follows Meera, who tells him to stay away. Arjun tries to empathize, explaining he understands how her father must feel, willing to do anything to protect his child. He assures her that their marriage will only be in name, and they can remain friends without any marital relations. Meera questions what will happen to Kashvi. Arjun admits he cannot face Kashvi and that she will be devastated by this news. He believes it’s better for her to hate him so she can move on. He requests Meera to promise not to reveal the truth to Kashvi, even planning to annul the marriage once her father recovers. Meera, in tears, agrees to support Arjun.
Scene 6: Confrontation at the Wedding
During Meera’s grah pravesh, Kashvi arrives. Nitya attempts to stop her, but Kashvi insists on speaking to Arjun alone. She confronts him outside, demanding to know why he married Meera. Arjun coldly replies that since Kashvi is leaving for Delhi and they can never be together due to Karun, he can marry anyone. Kashvi is shocked and asks why he would marry someone he barely knows and wear Mohan’s sherwani. Arjun reveals that Mohan is dead, explaining he married Meera out of sympathy. Kashvi, hurt, questions why he didn’t talk to her first. Arjun lies, claiming he and Meera were more than friends and had feelings for each other since Devraj’s daughter’s wedding. He says they decided to hide their feelings initially but chose to be together after Mohan’s death.
