Today’s episode opens with Abhira informing Kaveri that Krish has sold the Poddar firm. Kaveri refuses to believe this and insists that although Krish has changed in the last few days, he would never sell his Nana-sa’s legacy. She asks Abhira to forget such talk. Kaveri then orders Kajal to call Krish immediately. Kajal admits she has no idea where Krish is.
Abhira questions Sanjay about whether he knew anything about Krish’s intentions. Sanjay agrees with Kaveri Krish has indeed become unpredictable lately, but he couldn’t have possibly sold the firm unless someone misled him. Abhira says she wishes that were true but the new investor, called Armaan, was directly informed in detail about Krish’s actions. Everyone is stunned.
In a flashback, Tanya asks Krish how he arranged the money to pay the goons. Krish replies that he sold the firm. Shocked Tanya says he has destroyed everyone by selling the one thing that runs the entire household. Krish tries to defend himself saying he did it to save Maira’s life. Tanya snaps back, saying Krish himself put Maira in danger and now wants to act like a forced hero. She warns that he plans to tell yet another lie, so the family believes whatever he did was right, using another lie to cover up his previous lies.
In the present, Tanya watches everyone worry about the firm and is consumed by guilt. Kaveri refuses to believe that Krish could do this and assumes someone prank-called Abhira.
Abhira questions Tanya asking if Krish told her anything. Tanya is about to confess but Krish stops her and says she doesn’t need to explain on his behalf. He will answer everyone himself.
Kaveri emotionally pleads with Krish to say it’s a lie that Abhira’s friends were joking. But Krish states calmly that Abhira is telling the truth he sold the firm. Kaveri’s world collapses and her legs give away. Abhira rushes to hold her.
The new owner Ahuja says Kaveri Poddar’s arrogance will now finally break. He mocks the family saying she will have no one left to boss around. He even questions whether she will survive such a massive shock at her age.
Just then Armaan arrives and orders Ahuja’s staff to stop removing the Poddar nameplate. Before he can stop them the nameplate falls and shatters. Ahuja arrogantly says Armaan should be grateful he was invited to become the senior partner but instead he is behaving like a goon despite having left the firm years ago.
Armaan picks up a sharp piece of the broken nameplate and holds it to Ahuja’s neck warning him not to speak a single wrong word about his family. Ahuja claims that he even considered offering Armaan the job but Krish sold his share first. Armaan declares that Ahuja cannot afford him anyway. Ahuja insists he name his price. Armaan replies that he doesn’t want money he wants his family’s share back because every brick of that firm carries his grandfather’s blood and sweat. He warns Ahuja not to stop him or he will burn anyone who touches him.
As Armaan leaves Ahuja’s staff hands him a box saying someone came by and left it for him.
Back home Abhira demands to know under what right Krish sold the firm. She asks him to show which papers gave him such authority. Krish lies again saying he handled multiple properties.
Abhira snaps back saying he traded the entire firm for some stamped property and orders him to return the money so she can give it back to the investor and reclaim the firm. Tanya whispers for Krish to tell the truth.
Abhira orders Krish to transfer the funds right now. Krish lies further claiming he invested the money in a property but because of an illegal issue the property was seized the money was lost and he sold the firm to cover the losses.
Unable to control her rage Abhira slaps Krish hard. Everyone is shocked.
Krish coldly says Abhira is right he is not the old Krish anymore. Abhira replies that she knows this because the old Krish cared for his mother, his home, and the firm. But this Krish has sold the family’s pride to strangers.
Krish shoots back questioning Abhira’s contribution. He accuses everyone saying no one did anything for the firm, no one worked, no one lifted a finger. He claims he alone worked day and night, brought clients, fought cases, and earned money while everyone else enjoyed the benefits. And now they act as if he’s a criminal.
Abhira reminds him that he never ran the firm out of genuine care. Krish argues that he was exhausted, clients were leaving, board members were quitting, and the firm was heading toward closure. If it had shut down everyone would have blamed him so he made the right decision by selling it.
Abhira asks why he didn’t come to her or Armaan for help. Krish shouts that he didn’t want them to act like heroes again. Abhira says he sold the legacy because of insecurity and inferiority. Krish dismisses legacy as a fancy word people use to feel good saying nothing in the world is permanent and the firm’s legacy would have ended anyway. Abhira says legacy passes from generation to generation. Krish says he is a rotten human being worse than a thief or kidnapper and she should not try to understand him.
Abhira asks Krish about the tracker found on Maira and the shady men seen at the wedding. Krish denies knowing anything.
Just then Armaan storms into the house and throws papers at Krish. As everyone reads them they see screenshots of Krish’s gambling charts. The truth is out Krish had taken loans to gamble. Abhira recalls ring and realizes it was indeed stolen. She asks Krish whether he stole Dadisa’s ring to pay his loan installments. Sanjay also questions him. Armaan states the gambling debt is why he lied and finally sold the firm.
Krish asks if there are any more accusations. Armaan says he has proof sent by someone. Krish argues that Armaan trusts an unknown sender over him. Then he taunts Abhira saying she is always ready to wash her hands in muddy water. Abhira warns him not to speak rubbish about her.
Kajal steps in to protect Krish and begs Armaan not to dirty his hands by touching him. Instead she hits Krish herself crying that she didn’t give birth to him for this day. Krish yells that he has had enough everyone is venting their frustrations on him. He says he only did what felt right.
Kaveri stops him and asks if stabbing her in the back was also right. She cries that the firm carries memories in every corner how could he betray all of that? Krish says the firm was his he ran it and he was tired.
Dadisa breaks down saying the firm belonged to her husband built with his sweat and it was never Krish’s to sell. Because of him her promise to her husband has been broken. While giving him a pause to think her hands didn’t tremble.
Krish coldly pushes Kaveri away and says the legacy can go to hell. Kaveri collapses. Everyone is shocked Abhira and Armaan rush to her. Armaan loses control and starts beating Krish
Krish screams that Armaan is the biggest hypocrite eight years ago he was nowhere and now he lectures about family values. He says the family members are not meant to stay together they will fight again soon. He claims he did right by selling the firm because neither the sons nor the grandsons have the strength to carry Nana-sa’s legacy. He taunts Armaan saying that even during the darkest phases of his life Armaan never handled the firm. If he loves the legacy so much, he should go and get the firm back if he has the courage.
Precap: Kaveri collapses from the emotional shock and is rushed as she cries that the Poddar firm is the foundation of the family and without the foundation the family will fall apart. Armaan takes an oath on her name promising that he will reclaim the Poddar firm.
