At the beginning of the episode, Rishi tells Rano to wear a seat belt as he will drive fast. Neelam asks Lakshmi what she wants. Virendra says this is her own house and she can come and go as she likes. Soniya is about to say about alimony but Virendra tells her to keep quiet. Lakshmi calms Virendra down and says the family is sad right now, so no point in scolding anyone. Neelam asks Lakshmi if she cares about this family and Virendra, then she must return.
Lakshmi says her bond with this family was because of Rishi but now that they have no bond, so how can she return. Rishi comes back and says the only bond between them now is that of money. Lakshmi asks what he means. Rano comes and says Lakshmi came herself. Rishi asks if Lakshmi got the papers. Lakshmi gives him the papers.
Soniya blames her, so Lakshmi is puzzled. Rishi brings a bagful of money and says he defended her in front of HR Manager. He tells Ayush not to interfere. He says he saved Lakshmi and she is just like other women. Lakshmi gets angry and hands over the papers to Rishi. Rishi asks her to read them. Lakshmi tells him to read it himself. Rishi reads that they are divorce papers. Lakshmi is shocked. Ayush sees her expressions and figures that she did not file for divorce.
Rishi says Lakshmi just wants money and throws the papers on Lakshmi’s face. Rano says Rishi has no manners. Karishma says these people are greedy. Rano says they are just asking for what she deserves after Rishi’s betrayal. Rishi claps and says Lakshmi’s plan was great and she is getting what she wanted. He tells Virendra that they misunderstood her. He tells Lakshmi that he felt guilty for hurting her but she turned out to be selfish and opportunistic. He says all she every wanted was money. He asks what is the price for saving his life and her support. He says she cheated him.
Rishi opens bag and puts money in Lakshmi’s hands in return of saving his life. Lakshmi remains shocked. He tells Lakshmi that she finished everything. Rano asks for a bag to collect money and starts picking up.
Lakshmi wipes her tears and says is this all the money for his life. Rishi says yes, so she puts money on his hands and asks him to return her love and trust that she gave him. She asks him to return her the time when she thought of him as her life. She asks her to give her the cure for her wounds. Rishi says her time is up and she acted very well but now her real face is in front of her. He says Virendra was sure that Lakshmi can never send divorce papers. Lakshmi says this is how much he understood her. Rishi says she is till showing attitude after all this.
Ayush loses her cool. He breaks a vase and puts it on Rano’s neck. He tells her to tell the truth, who sent the papers. Ayush says he will end her if she does not tell. Rano confesses Lakshmi had no idea about divorce papers. Ayush says now they know who is what. Lakshmi says Rano did the right thing except asking for money. She says if Rano had not sent the papers, she would not have come to know what Rishi actually feels for her.
Rishi says he also ends his relationship with her in front of his family. Lakshmi says he was never in the relationship, so she breaks it once again. Lakshmi leaves and thinks what Rishi said. Rano comes out and looks for Lakshmi. Lakshmi thinks Rishi taught her not to trust anyone ever again.
