At the beginning of the episode, Lakshmi makes sweets for the whole family. Dadi is very happy to see that she made PIINNI. Dadi says they are her favourites but cannot have too much as she has diabetes. Lakshmi lets her taste a little.
Lakshmi gives sweets to everyone at the breakfast table. Everyone praises her except Karishma. Dadi says first time making sweets are the biggest exam for a new bride. She says if Neelam likes them then she will pass in every exam. Neelam says they are very tasty. Karishma says everyone is already praising so what is the need for her to say anything. Lakshmi gives sweets to Rishi but he ignores her and checks something on his phone. Rishi says he has to go for work as in evening there is a function again. Rishi tells Lakshmi that PINNI has a lot of gluten and he avoids gluten so he cannot have them. Virendra apologises to Lakshmi and says he should have told her that Rishi avoids gluten. Neelam says why sorry and Lakshmi also does not need to mind it. She asks her to make something which Rishi eats.
Lakshmi thinks about Rishi’s behaviour and wonders what has happened to him. She thinks he must be stressed because of work, as he is such a good person. She thinks he also saved his number in her phone so she can call him. She thinks everything will be fine in the evening.
Neelam comes to Lakshmi’s room. She and Dadi have brought dress and jewellery for Lakshmi’s MUH-DIKHAI. Karishma says all this is very heavy and expensive and they should give her something light. Neelam says she wants Lakshmi to look royal for MUH-DIKHAI. Lakshmi says they are all nice and she will wear whatever Neelam chooses. Dadi says it will suit her very well. Karishma takes rest of sets and goes. Dadi tells her to wear a beautiful smile on top of everything.
Lakshmi thinks Karishma is right that it is too heavy. Dadi tells Karishma that she can see that she does not like Lakshmi. She says she should not forget that she is Rishi’s wife and she hasn’t done any wrong to her. Karishma says she hasn’t but she can. Ayush comes just then and says Rishi is attending the meeting so he came home. Karishma tells him to attend some party, but he does not want to. Dadi says he doesn’t need to. Dadi asks why he doesn’t have a girlfriend. He says he had decided to stay alone when his heart broke in 3rd grade.
Rano tells Neha to get ready for Lakshmi’s MUH-DIKHAI. Neha says she does not want to go. Rano says they need to pretend to be happy for Lakshmi to take property papers worth crores from Gurucharan. Neha says what about Shalu and Bani. Rano says she will take care of them.
Lakshmi gets ready. She thinks of calling Rishi but is confused what to say. She calls him bur disconnects thinking he might be busy. She looks at Rishis’ photo and thinks he must also be missing her. Neelam looks in tension, so Dadi ask her why. She says nothing and goes. Virendra says her tension is because Neelam’s dad is coming for MUH-DIKHAI and he is upset with them because of rushed marriage. Virendra says her dad was Virendra’s boss at one time. Dadi says he grew the business so much that the same boss married his daughter to him. Virendra says Neelam still thinks whatever he is because of her father. Dadi says his wife cannot see, but she knows everything.
Karishma scolds Ayush for not going to Juneja’s party. Ayush calls Rishi and says he is going to his room to see cricket match. Ayush asks if he wants to talk to Lakshmi. Rishi says he should not take her name to spoil his mood, as he cannot tolerate her at all. Lakshmi asks for the phone. Ayush says Lakshmi is right in front of her and gives the phone to Lakshmi. Lakshmi asks if he had food. Rishi gets irritated and thinks he does not even want to listen to her voice. He disconnects the call saying he is in a meeting. Ayush tells her that Rishi was missing her. Lakshmi is pleased to hear that.
