Kumkum Bhagya 27th July 2024 Written Update begins with Monisha stirring up trouble by telling Harleen that Poorvi has disrespected her and ignored her wishes. She claims that even after Harleen asked Poorvi to leave the house, Poorvi refused to go, acting as if the house belonged to her. Monisha warns Harleen that if this continues, Poorvi will take control, and Harleen will lose her authority. Monisha’s mother supports her, stating that while Harleen has kept the family united with love, Poorvi has taken over as if Harleen’s opinions don’t matter. Vaishali agrees, expressing that Poorvi is doing whatever she pleases. Deepika echoes their sentiments, insisting that Poorvi is asserting dominance in the house, especially after her recent actions.
Monisha asserts that Poorvi aims to insult everyone, believing she can do so because Dadu supports her. Vaishali reminds Harleen that she has always managed the household and that Poorvi’s behavior is intolerable. Deepika adds that they all asked Poorvi to leave, but she chose to stay. Harleen, clearly upset, storms off, followed by the other women.
Harleen heads to the kitchen and asks the servant about Poorvi. The servant informs her that Poorvi has prepared food for RV herself. Monisha scolds the servant, claiming Poorvi is trying to get closer to RV to undermine Harleen. Harleen vows to show Poorvi her place, with Vaishali asking what her plan is. Harleen instructs Monisha and Deepika to pack Poorvi’s belongings before heading to the hall.
Meanwhile, Harman and Dadu arrive to meet RV but are stopped by an inspector who says visiting hours are over. Dadu insists on seeing RV, explaining that they brought food for him because of his upset stomach. The inspector firmly states he must do his job. Just then, Poorvi arrives with tiffins of food, apologizing for being late. She explains that she wanted RV and the others to have home-cooked meals in the police station. The inspector accuses her of attempting to bribe them, but Poorvi insists she only brought food out of kindness.
Seeing her genuine intentions, the constable argues that Poorvi is from a respectable family and that no one has ever brought food for them before. The inspector, moved by her compassion, allows Poorvi to meet RV but only permits her to enter alone. Poorvi refuses to go without Harman and Dadu, and eventually, the inspector relents, allowing them all to meet RV.
Upon entering, RV expresses his frustration, asking Poorvi why she came when he told her not to. The constable chimes in, saying RV is lucky to have such a devoted wife. Dadu supports Poorvi, emphasizing that she brought food for everyone. Harman urges RV to eat, but RV stubbornly claims he isn’t hungry. Poorvi reassures him and tries to feed him, holding his face gently and encouraging him to eat. As she offers him paneer, the song “Main Hoon Saath Tere” plays, creating a tender moment between them.
Despite her efforts, RV insists he doesn’t want to eat, but Poorvi continues to encourage him. Eventually, RV relents, and she feeds him while smiling. Afterward, Harman and Dadu tell RV they didn’t come just to bring him food; they have a more pressing matter to discuss. Poorvi asks RV where Neha is, leading to RV’s confusion about her identity.
Meanwhile, Neha is dancing in her house, unaware that a man is watching her. Sensing someone’s presence, she turns off the music and becomes frightened when she sees the stranger, who quickly covers her mouth.
Back in the police station, RV struggles to remember where he met Neha. Poorvi prompts him to think harder, and he recalls that she introduced herself as Nethra Rai Singh at the party. Harman informs RV that Neha’s real name is Neha, and Nethra is a fake name. Poorvi confirms this and expresses her concern over Neha’s deception. Dadu asks how she knows this, and Poorvi explains that she was present when RV first met Neha and heard her introduce herself. RV admits that he didn’t question her at the time.
As their time together comes to an end, the constable reminds them that visiting hours are over, and Harman and Dadu prepare to leave. Poorvi reassures RV, telling him that he is not wrong and should have faith in himself. She holds his hand and leaves.
Outside, Poorvi’s car breaks down, and Dadu notices the tension in the air as they approach the group gathered around Harleen. Poorvi spots her bag and asks why it’s there. Harleen demands Monisha explain what happened between Poorvi and RV. Monisha claims they had a big fight that night, insisting that Poorvi doubted RV and left against his wishes. Poorvi protests, stating that Monisha’s claims are false. Harleen accuses Poorvi of hurting RV so badly that he resorted to drinking, landing him in jail. The confrontation escalates as Harleen holds Poorvi responsible for RV’s current predicament.
