At the beginning of the episode, Leela tells Anupama that she should think again about her decision. Because if she divorces, people will taunt her. They will make fun of her. She adds that our society’s thinking has not changed till date. Anupama says she knows.
Leela says that when she knows about all this then why is she doing this. Anupama says that society does not care about her then why should she care about the society. Leela is sad that such a good daughter-in-law is leaving her. But Anupama tells her not to be sad. Because soon everything will be alright.
Next she sees that everyone is asleep. After this Anupama cries. She is feeling very sad as she is about to move away from her family. She says that this family belongs to her but from tomorrow she will no longer be a part of this family. She remembers how she used to worship at the Shah house and cook food.
She wishes that Hansmook and Mamaji should also be here. But now if they are not here, then he should be happy with her rest of the family. Further Anupama sees Vanraj and her photo. She recalls how she was very happy with Vanraj earlier. And then how Vanraj had changed completely.
She is repeatedly reminded of the days when Vanraj was in love with her but after a few years he changed and started to treat her badly. Anupama weeps her tears. Then Vanraj comes there. He tells Anupama that he wants to talk to her. Anupama goes after him.
Vanraj tells Anupama that they should think once again. Anupama starts going from there. Vanraj stops her. He says that he has done a lot wrong with her. And he is sorry for that. Vanraj says that Anupama has supported him for twenty five years, but now he wants to support her.
Anupama is surprised to hear his talk, even Vanraj falls in her feet. He asks her to consider this decision for the children. Vanraj tells her that she should not leave her family. Anupama starts crying and hugs him. He further tells the family and Kavya that he is postponing divorce for some time. But Anupama denies this.
