Premji is a proud father of a son and wishes to get his son married to Khimji’s daughter. Khimji’s wife Ratan is a proud mother and a devoted wife who looks after her kids and husband’s requirements, she spends most of her time teaching Anandi life skills. Premji’s wife Sejal’s aspiration in her life is her son Jigar, who she is very fond of and can go to any extent to fulfill his need. Premji and Khimji’s friendship is known in Devgarh.

Khimji gives away his daughter’s hand in marriage to Premji’s son when they were kids. To fulfill their wish of being in-laws to each other. For Khimji, his promises mean a lot and Premji is even more important than that. For Premji, his family comes first and he is very fond of Anandi. Premji right then asked Khimji to give his daughter to be his daughter-in-law. Khimji hugged him and accepted the offer.

Anandi is two years younger than Jigar. Anandi is a bright young girl who loves dancing and she is the light of her family. Anandi enjoys dancing garba and dandiya. While Jigar is a studious student and good at cricket and very close to his mother. Jigar also has a short temper. Anandi enjoys annoying Jigar.
