After featuring in the popular show Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha, Ayaz Ahmed is back in action as an obsessive lover in Qurbaan Hua which is produced by Full House Media (Sonali and Amir Jaffar). While he agrees that it can get challenging to join a show midway, he believes in taking up a project with a positive approach. He says, “It can get daunting to join an ongoing show and shoot with a set of actors who have been working together for a long time. But one always needs to have a positive outlook towards life. Everything can’t fall into place at your convenience.”
He is excited about playing Zain Siddiqui in QH mainly because he is nothing like his character. Zain couldn’t get over his first love, which is the opposite of Ayaz. He says, “My definition of love has changed over the years. I was like Zain when I was younger, but as I matured, the meaning changed for me. Love is just chemical locha happening in our head, which we tend to mistake for intense, undying, and pure love. I am no longer the guy who will waste time chasing a girl. It is easier for me to get over a heartbreak today. I enjoy the feeling of being in love, but I know where to draw the line and set my boundaries.”
For now, he is busy balancing acting with his newfound passion for writing. He says, “I haven’t been thinking too much about acting because I have also been occupied with scriptwriting. I have finished a screenplay and I am pitching it to a couple of production houses.”
