At the beginning of the episode, Khemji tells Premji that he feels very sad when he sees him without slippers. Premji adds that he was also selfish in this as he needed a daughter-in-law for his son. Khemji calls it an act of selfishness. Khemji comes to his knees and makes Premji wear slippers. Premji is happy because his friend knows the size of his foot and he has found the softest sandal.
After this Premji gets the good news that his loan has been cleared. Premji gets happy. Premji feels that all this happened because of Anandi. He amplifies that the daughter-in-law is Lakshmi. Premji also explains that he is happy to have a friend like Khemji. Khemji similarly believes that he has a friend like Premji. Here Leela brings pudding for Dadiba. Dadiba sees the bruises on her hand.
She asks her how she got this injury. Leela remembers that she was beaten up by Pawan. She lies to Dadiba that she fell while working in the kitchen. Dadiba does not believe this. Ratan brings Prasad to Dadiba’s house. Seeing Leela’s injury, she also asks how did she get this injury. Leela lies that she fell from the roof. She forgets that she told Dadiba something else.
Dadiba confronts her on this but Leela does not tell her anything and leaves from there. Premji is playing with Anandi. He tells Anandi not to cook food like her mother as he will get fat after eating such good food. Sejal feels that everyone wants their daughter-in-law to cook good food but Premji is thinking the opposite. Jigar wants Premji to play with him too. He then asks Premji the meaning of friendship.
Premji tells him how Khemji had helped him when he was alone in this village. Khemji asks him not to tell half-baked things. He tells him the story of Premji that once he was caught in a fire. No one came to save him. But Premji saved his life without thinking. His face was also burnt. But he ignored his injury. Jigar falls asleep. Whereas Khemji says that today he is alive only because of Premji.
Premji asks him not to praise him. Khemji feels that he has become Sarpanch today only because of Premji. Sejal notifies them that the kids are asleep. Sejal prays that their friendship remains like this always. Dadiba once again sees the mark on Leela’s hand. She asks her to tell the truth. Leela doesn’t say anything. Dadiba understands that Pawan has beaten her. She wants to scold Pawan. However, Leela stops her.
Just then Sarita comes. Her health is bad. She takes her to Sharda. Sharda tells that all this is happening because of weakness. The doctor gives her some medicine so that she gets better. Dr asks Dadiba to take care of Sarita or else her condition may get worse. Dadiba gets sad that his Sarita is in such a bad condition. She scolds her husband.
