In the beginning of the episode, the staff who shows Rishi rings calls out Lakshmi’s name. Rishi turns to look if it’s his Lakshmi, she kneels down to take out the rings and he doesn’t see her. He turns around to see the ring. She hears Rishi’s voice and turns and sees him sitting and selecting the ring. She has a flashback of Malishka saying to her that she is here to shop jewellery for her wedding. She thinks to herself that today itself they parted ways and Rishi moved on so fast. She gets emotional and hides behind a wall.
Ranno walks up and down in the hall thinking about the loss Lakshmi is causing her by refusing to take the alimony. Binnie comes with tea for her, she says to her to mix poison in it as she is going into debt and Lakshmi has refused to help her and ended all her dreams. Binnie’s son tells Ranno to talk slowly as he is getting disturbed. She taunts him, he says to her first look after her daughter. He leaves with his friend. Binnie tells Ranno that her son plays great gambling.
The jewellery store staff shows Malishka a few sets but she says she doesn’t like them. She instead has flashbacks of Lakshmi taunting her, she gets flustered and asks for a break. She in a corner says to herself that she shouldn’t be the one worried as Rishi left Lakshmi and chose her.
She goes back to see the jewellery set and asks the staff that she wants to see the set on someone for her to see how it will look for her. The staff calls Lakshmi and makes her stand and Malishka asks her to put all the necklace on Lakshmi tk insult her. Lakshmi feels embarrassed and stands stunned. Malishka exaggerates her wedding preparations.
Neelam and Karishma perform the rituals for Rishi’s well-being. They go on to do the ritual and see the tulsi plant rotten. Neelam gets worried. Karishma says to her that she is overeating as it is just a plant. She gets angry at her and says because of her selfishness, she doesn’t want Lakshmi back in the house and causing everyone pain. She says to her that Lakshmi is the perfect daughter-in-law and wife. Karishma after Neelam leaves says tk herself that because of Lakshmi today her sister-in-law got angry at her which has never happened. She says she would never let Lakshmi be part of the family.
Malishka says to the staff that she saved her fiance from a woman who had an evil eye on him, but in the end destiny gave Rishi back to her. She then asks her to call Rishi to help her try on some mangalsutra. She says to the staff that she has given it a second thought and she doesn’t like the jewellery set on Lakshmi as she doesn’t deserve them.
