At the beginning of the episode, Sarla does GATHBANDHAN. Everyone is touched by her gesture. Rishi and Lakshmi stand up for PHERAS. Karishma wonders where Rano is at such a time. Rano is looking for Neha. She opens Preetam’s door and tells him to follow her. Lakshmi remembers her father’s wishes for her during the PHERAS. Shalu and Bani hug Lakshmi as she sits back. Rishi puts MANGALSUTRA around Lakshmi’s neck.
Rano and Preetam find Neha and free her. Neha is beside herself about losing Rishi. Preetam consoles her and tells her to calm down. He says people will question them if they are not present at the wedding. The wedding completes without any more hiccups. Rishi and Lakshmi take blessings from all the elders. Preetam remembers his promise to his brother that he will get Lakshmi married. He hugs Lakshmi and blesses her to remain happy. Rano is cold to her. Gurucharan chacha is emotional and blesses her. He says he brought rice from the village for the rice-throwing ritual.
Preeta wishes them to remain well and love each other. Karan advises Rishi to always listen to his wife. They touch Sarla’s feet and she tells Rishi to take care of Lakshmi and tells her that she will not leave him if Lakshmi is upset. Srishti says their pair is super-hit.
Karishma tells Dadi that she will go and arrange for Lakshmi’s welcome at home. Lakshmi’s VIDAI happens. Her sisters cry along with her. Rishi takes Lakshmi with him. All of the boy’s family also leave.
Dadi and Neelam do Lakshmi’s GRIHAPRAVESH. Dadi tells Karishma to do AARTI. Karishma ignores Lakshmi while doing AARTI. Neelam tells Lakshmi to gently kick the Kalash and leave her footprints on the floor. Lakshmi’s foot slips just as she puts her foot in the tray and a vase falls. Karishma screams at Lakshmi and says it is a bad omen. She says now Lakshmi will have to come inside without putting her footprints on the floor. Neelam says they must finish the GRIHAPRAVESH. Dadi says Lakshmi is already standing on the KUMKUM thal, so if she goes out her footprints will be towards outside which is even worse. Neelam says they cannot clean the glass also as that will remove the RANGOLI and that means colors will go away from Lakshmi’s life. Karishma says then how is it possible for Lakshmi to come inside without spoiling the rangoli. Lakshmi says she can do it.
Karishma asks how she will do it. Lakshmi says she can remove the glass and then keep her foot. Rishi asks her not to do it as she can get hurt. She says her mother taught her that a girl faces many challenges after marriage but she has to cross those hurdles without hurting herself or her family. She says she can do it. Neelam tells her to do it but with care. Rishi holds Lakshmi’s hand. Lakshmi removes glass with her feet and then puts the foot down. She steps on a glass piece but manages to cross it. GRIHAPRAVESH happens successfully. Everyone welcomes her except Karishma. Dadi says she is real Lakshmi not just in name. Virendra hugs her and blesses her to be victorious.
