In the beginning of the episode, Lakshmi and her sister go to sleep. Her sister’s say to her that today they will only have dreams of the bonus cheque. Her sister asks her what will she dream of? Lakshmi thinks of Rishi, but says to her sister’s that she will dream of their education and marriage. They both go to sleep but Lakshmi gets out of the bed and stands by the window. She thinks of her father telling her that he wants somebody in her life who takes a stand for her. She says to herself that Rishi was just the man her father wanted, but he kept her in the dark.
Rishi in his twists and turns having flashbacks of Lakshmi and his conversation where she says to him that they should move on. Ayush says to him that he is disturbing him as he is also not able to fall asleep. He suggests that he call Malishka if he is missing her. He says he is thinking of Lakshmi, and asks him to go to sleep. He then goes by the window and receives a call from Malishka. She apologizes to her and asks him to pick her up in the morning as they can go to the office together.
In the morning, while Rishi is leaving for work Ayush tries to adjust his hair, but he says to him that he hates when people touch his hair. Ayush says he never minded when Lakshmi used to touch his hair. He ignores and goes outside while getting in his car. He has flashbacks of him getting angry at Malishka when she touched his hair but never getting upset at Lakshmi. He asks himself why it is so. Neelam comes outside and asks him to not go outside today, but he says he’ll return early.
Lakshmi and Shalu arrive at the Bank and see it decorated. Shalu tells her that it’s Valentine’s day. They take the account opening form from the counter. Shalu goes to drink water, Lakshmi looks for a pen in her bag and finds a ring and wonders how it reached there.
Malishka waits for Rishi outside, He arrives there and she gets in the car and hugs him. He asks her to postpone her early meetings in the office as they have tk go to the bank. She says tk him that the bank is close to Lakshmi’s jewellery store, he says to her that they are not going to the store so she can relax. He says tk her that Neelam saw the jewellery bags in his car today and was interrogating him. She asks him if he hasn’t told his mother about his decision to get married to her. He says that if his mother finds it now there will be a huge drama. He says for now they should put the jewellery in the locker and at the right time tell the family.
