At the beginning of the episode, Rishi and others come back home. Dadi and his sisters are happy to see him. Soniya and Ayush tease Dadi. Dadi hugs Lakshmi and praises her. Malishka is jealous to see everyone praising Lakshmi. Ayush says he also should be given some credit for helping Lakshmi. Lakshmi says he helped her a lot. Dadi says she would have done it even without Ayush. Dadi hugs Ayush too and calls him her lion. Ayush says Lakshmi is the real lioness.
Neelam tells Rishi to freshen up for dinner. Virendra tells that the next day is their marriage anniversary. Soniya says they are the ideal couple. Virendra says just like Rishi and Lakshmi. Neelam snaps at him and goes.
Preetam watches the news about Lakshmi saving Rishi. Rano gets irritated and turns off the TV. Rano says she also saved him from dying of hunger as his salary is too less. Preetam says his brother would have been proud of Lakshmi, had he been alive. Neha gets a call. Rano tells her to break friendship with her friend, but it is Gurucharan on the other side. She gives the phone to Preetam and goes. Rano asks about the money. Preetam gives the phone to Shalu. Shalu tells him that everything is alright. He tells her that he is coming to the city and they will go to meet Lakshmi at her home.
Rishi sees Malishka is very upset. She tells him she is upset because he allowed Lakshmi to hug him. Rishi says it is okay, but she is the only one for him. He tells her that he even lets Sanjay hug him at times, but his loving hug is only for her. Rishi asks Malishka if she thinks Lakshmi is better than her or can he ever fall in love with Lakshmi. Malishka says that can never happen. Rishi says Lakshmi is a good and sweet girl and he does not want to be mean to her unnecessarily. He tells her that only she is her choice. Ayush overhears their conversation. Malishka asks Rishi to promise that he will always be with her. Rishi promises her. Ayush feels frustrated. He tells Rishi that Neelam is calling him for dinner.
Karishma asks Neelam what is bothering her. Neelam says she is upset with Lakshmi but cannot say anything to her. She says Lakshmi ignores her time and again, but she still cannot tell her anything as her plan saved Rishi. Rishi comes and tells Neelam not to worry about anything.
The whole family has dinner together. Virendra announces that they will celebrate their anniversary the next day. He thanks Lakshmi again. Karishma asks him to stop it, but Virendra says Lakshmi will arrange for their anniversary celebration.
Karishma says their guests are coming from all across the world, so Lakshmi cannot arrange it. They should let Malishka arrange the party as planned. Virendra says it is their party so he will decide. Karishma says they should ask Neelam too. Neelam says Karishma is right. Malishka says Lakshmi is new to all this so she wouldn’t know how to arrange a party like this. Ayush says he can assist Lakshmi if Neelam allows it.
Rishi asks Neelam if she wants Malishka to do it. Virendra says he trusts Lakshmi will do it with love and bring love to their relationship. Neelam agrees because Virendra insists. Lakshmi comes there and Virendra tells her. Lakshmi gets nervous so Karishma says this is exactly what she was saying. Virendra and Ayush encourage her and promise her their support. Lakshmi agrees finally. Virendra asks for extra sweets that Lakshmi has made. Malishka feels left out, so Rishi holds her hand.
Soniya is furious at the importance being given to Lakshmi by Virendra. Karishma says she told but Virendra did not listen. Malishka says how he can give Lakshmi so much importance in front of her. Karishma tells her to use this opportunity to show Lakshmi her place. Malishka sends a “I love you” message to Rishi. Rishi worries if Lakshmi ever sees that. Rishi changes Malishka’s name on his phone. He thinks he must gift something to Malishka to let her know he is only hers.
Rishi orders jewelry for Malishka. Lakshmi comes from behind. Rishi gets surprised and hides the tab. Lakshmi asks if everything is alright.
