At the beginning of the episode, Rishi tells Lakshmi that something might hurt her in the future. Lakshmi tells him that he should not worry about things that will never happen. Rishi says he was about to do that. Lakshmi says he cannot do it because he respects women and he loves her so much that he can never hurt her. Lakshmi says he is the best man after their fathers. She tells him not to worry about her as she is safe with him.
Lakshmi tells him to sleep, but Rishi resists. She makes him lie in the bed and says she will do magic. She runs her fingers through his hair and he goes to sleep holding her hand. Malishka is restless in her bed thinking about how Rishi cares about Lakshmi. She remembers that Rishi will go to Lakshmi as she does not give him stress. Malishka vows not to fight with Rishi anymore to make him realize that he can be happy with her.
Rishi gets up in the morning to see that Lakshmi is asleep by his bedside. He asks why she slept there. Lakshmi says he kept holding her hand. Rishi says he is not shameless like she told him in the function. Lakshmi says she said it for herself. Lakshmi tells him that she likes when he holds her hand. Rishi hesitates to say something but then lets it go. Rishi thinks he was about to say that holding his hand is her right but he is about to snatch all her rights.
Malishka calls Rishi and asks him to come to her house immediately. Malishka greets Kiran cheerfully and asks where she is going. Kiran says she is going to meet Neelam. They wonder what the reason could be.
Lakshmi helps Rishi with his file and says she will prepare his breakfast. Malishka calls him but he does not see it as he is busy. Rishi tells Lakshmi that she takes care of him like no one else. Lakshmi sees his mobile and recognizes that it is Malishka as her number is saved as “My Forever”. He asks how she came to know that it is Malishka. Lakshmi says she knew because Malishka’s perfume brand is called “My Forever”. Lakshmi goes to make breakfast. Rishi feels frustrated that he has started liking Lakshmi. He thinks he must stay away from Lakshmi.
Kiran comes to meet Neelam. Kiran asks her what the matter is. Neelam says Rishi loves Malishka a lot. Kiran says they all know it. Karishma says Malishka is marrying Viraj despite that and Rishi is with Lakshmi. Neelam says Rishi is with Lakshmi for her sake and will remain in pain for one year. Neelam says Rishi tolerated everything even when she congratulated Malishka and Viraj. She tells Kiran to convince Malishka not to marry Viraj and she promises that Rishi will marry her after a year. Kiran says Abhay has brainwashed Malishka to marry Viraj. Karishma says Neelam should talk to Rishi once. Rishi passes the room and asks what they want to talk about.
Ayush bumps into Neha in the market. Neha pretends to have a sprain in her leg. She asks Ayush to take her to the doctor.
Neelam hugs Rishi and says she knows he is not happy. She says Rishi must be heartbroken that Malishka is marrying Viraj but she will speak to Malishka. Rishi tells her that he is fine and there is no need to talk to Malishka. Neelam says she heard them talking in the guest room. Rishi says they have decided to part ways as Malishka is not ready to wait for one year. Rishi says he has gone for an urgent meeting. Neelam, Kiran, and Karishma are shocked.
