At the beginning of the episode, Ayush tells Virendra that he has an enmity with Shalu. Lights go off. Everyone gets worried that it got dark on Diwali. Lakshmi says diyas will light the whole house. Diya starts flickering. Lakshmi puts her hands on it. She calls Rishi who also comes and puts his hand. Power comes back. Pandit ji says they stopped a bad omen from happening. Ayush says now there is no one to stop Rishi and Lakshmi from being together as Malishka is gone.
Malishka comes and brings Viraj Singhania with her. She steps on Lakshmi’s rangoli. Malishka wishes Happy Diwali to everyone. Viraj introduces himself as the son of Malishka’s father’s partner. Malishka says Viraj used to study with Rishi and her. Malishka says Viraj wanted to celebrate Diwali in the traditional way so she brought him along. Viraj says sorry for coming uninvited. Virendra and Dadi welcome him.
Malishka asks Lakshmi why she is looking at her like that. Lakshmi says she spoilt her rangoli. Malishka says she did not see. Rishi says it is ok as he also spoilt it. Lakshmi says but he helped in fixing it too. Malishka says big businessman is now making rangoli. Virendra says he punished him and whoever spoils the rangoli will have to fix it. Malishka says she does not know how to do it. Neelam tells her not to worry. She asks her to have PRASAD. Malishka takes Viraj to pray to God. Rishi goes from there.
Rano scolds Neha for why she was looking at Viraj instead of Ayush. Neha says Ayush is already flat on her and he keeps staring at her. Rano says when will he propose to her. Rano asks her to give this good news today only. Neha says it is too easy for her.
Lakshmi gives PRASAD to Malishka and Viraj. Viraj compliments Lakshmi for the sweets. Ayush asks Virendra what is going on. Virendra doubts that she has a plan and is ignoring Rishi on purpose. Viraj says Lakshmi’s name is so beautiful. Malishka asks him not to flirt with her as they are newly married. Rishi asks why Malishka is making everyone uncomfortable.
Viraj asks Lakshmi to tell something about her village. Lakshmi starts telling but her head spins. Rishi supports her and says she worked hard despite being unwell a few days ago. Lakshmi says she is alright. Rishi asks her to sit and takes her with him.
Viraj says Rishi is a good husband and they make a great couple. Virendra says they can relax now as Malishka’s presence did not affect Rishi. Ayush spills juice on himself. Sudeep gives a tissue paper to clean himself. Shalu comes there and says he is scared of ghosts. Ayush says he is not. They argue again. Ayush says he wishes she sees a ghost in real. Shalu says she is seeing a ghost right now. Shalu says she is not scared of him and goes. Ayush holds her hand and then stamps her foot. Shalu is about to fall but Ayush catches her.
Rishi makes Lakshmi sit on the sofa. He asks Sudeep to get some sweets. Viraj tells Malishka that they were late for puja but he is enjoying the divas and crackers. Rishi feeds Lakshmi sweets, as Malishka watches them.
