At the beginning of the episode, Ahana gives Dadi a new dress for the party and says there is a delay of half an hour. Devika gives a new dress to Rishi. Devika gives the dresses to Karishma and Soniya also. Ahana gives the clothes to Neelam and Virendra too.
Malishka is happy that she will see Lakshmi getting insulted, even though she is a little late. Everyone comes down and sees that the decor is that of a Punjabi village. Everyone is dressed in Punjabi clothes. Virendra and Dadi love it and praise Lakshmi. Karishma says the outfits are so tacky. Virendra says Neelam is looking the most graceful. Rishi says his mother is the prettiest. Virendra says he would have given Lakshmi jewels like old-time kings for her effort but since he cannot do it, Rishi should give the gift he brought for Lakshmi.
Malishka says their parties are always so modern and talk of the town, God knows what will happen this year as the decor is so desi. Ayush says it will be better than in previous years. Dadi, Devika, and Ahana say such positive vibes are coming because of Lakshmi. Dadi tells Karishma to praise too. Karishma says it will be old-fashioned for their friends from abroad. Virendra says they will love it.
Karishma asks Malishka how her lunch for the staff went. Malishka says it was very good and they have sent a gift for Neelam and Virendra. He brings a huge card that everyone has signed. Neelam and Virendra thank her.
Rishi brings the gift for Lakshmi. Lakshmi thinks it will be the love bands. Devika closes Lakshmi’s eyes. Rishi gives Lakshmi bangles. Lakshmi is shocked. Guests start coming in. Rishi asks if Lakshmi did not like the gift. Lakshmi says she liked it. Shalu asks Lakshmi said it is love bands. Lakshmi says maybe he will give it later when they are alone.
Ayush says Lakshmi did a miracle again and asks how she did all this. Lakshmi says Gurucharan’s uncle got his contacts who help in decorating Gurudwaras and they did everything within half an hour. Shalu and Ayush argue again. Ayush asks Lakshmi if she is sure that Shalu is her real sister.
Lakshmi makes LASSI for guests. Guests love the LASSI. Virendra asks Neelam to have it too. She says she will have it later. Karishma and Soniya are disappointed that their plan got spoilt. Karishma says soon guests will be bored because of no music. Dadi hears them talking.
Lakshmi thinks that the love band will be more precious for her than these gold bangles. She waits in anticipation. Rishi looks for Lakshmi. Their guests from Australia love the feel of India and say they showed them the real, rural India. The guest say Lakshmi is the best and Neelam and Virendra should find for a similar girl for their son too. Malishka hears all this and gets jealous. Rishi goes behind her.
Dadi scolds Karishma and Soniya for spoiling the decorations. She says Lakshmi is the daughter-in-law while she is the daughter who now belongs to another family. She says she will tell Neelam about what they did. Karishma tells her to not make a mountain out of a molehill. Soniya says their plan worked in a way as everyone loved the new decor. Dadi scolds Soniya for getting involved in such schemes and tells her to stay away from such things. Soniya worries if Dadi tells Neelam. Karishma says she will not tell as she does not want drama in the house.
Lakshmi remembers her mother as she wears a heavy DUPATTA. Her mother said that when people shares the joy of others then they also get blessed. Lakshmi prays that she and Rishi should also stay together forever. Lakshmi looks for a pin to fix her DUPATTA.
Rishi follows Malishka as Lakshmi comes there. Rishi asks her if she did not like the bangles. Lakshmi says she thought he will give her something else. Rishi says what she thought. Lakshmi points at Rishi’s love band and says it is very nice. Rishi hesitates but says a friend gave it to him. Lakshmi is shocked.
