At the beginning of the episode, Rishi tells Neelam that if he is alive, it is only because of Lakshmi. He tells Neelam that Balwinder attacked him because he fired him from the job not because of Lakshmi. Neelam apologizes to Lakshmi. Lakshmi tells her that a mother can always scold her children. Neelam says she was very scared earlier. She says thanks to her and requests her not to break the engagement. Lakshmi tells her not to say sorry and seeks her blessings. Lakshmi also says sorry for hiding the truth. Virendra thanks Rishi for coming on time. Rishi thanks him for messaging him on time. Rishi says sorry to Neelam. They go back happily.
Oberoi’s family gets ready for the engagement function. Rishi’s sister asks for Neelam’s permission to go out, but she says she might miss the function if she gets late, so she does not go. Virendra hugs Lakshmi reminding her of her own father. Virendra says he is also her father. Rano and Neha are jealous to see all this.
Lakshmi is nervous, so Rishi holds her hand to support her. Lakshmi asks her to leave her hand, so he asks does she really wants him to leave her hand. Ayush says everyone is watching, so they get embarrassed. Ayush conducts the function. He announces that the couple must dance. Rishi and Lakshmi dance on “teri meri galla”. Everyone except Rano and Neha cheers for them. Lakshmi trips while dancing but Rishi’s friend stops her from falling. They introduce themselves as Rishi’s college friends. Rishi apologizes for letting go of her hand. Lakshmi says she knows he cannot let go of her hand on purpose. They say Lakshmi is so beautiful.
Balwinder comes outside Oberoi’s house. Neha had informed him about the engagement and the time as well. Security stops him from going inside, but his gang overpowers the security and he goes inside.
Ayush announces that now that person will dance who is most happy with this engagement. Dadi says that means her, but he says that person is Rishi. They ask him to dance again. Rishi says he is very happy but he will not dance alone but with his whole family. Everyone dances on “galla gudiyan”
Balwinder comes inside. He is furious to see Lakshmi with Rishi. Neha gets happy to see him. She thinks now he will create some trouble. Balwinder plays pictures of him and Lakshmi on the screen. Everyone gets shocked to see those. Balwinder says he has worked so long for them that he could not betray them, so he came to tell the truth. He says Lakshmi and he got intimate before they got married. Shalu and Bani tell him not to lie, but he says the picture cannot lie. Neha gets happy to hear all this. Rano starts abusing Lakshmi and says they had no idea about all this. She tells Neelam that village girls are like this. She tells Virendra that Neha only is right for Rishi.
Shalu says all this is a lie, but Rano and Balwinder shut her up. Lakshmi finally breaks down and says it is all a lie. She tells that she escaped from him when he attacked her. Balwinder says now she is making him a villain. She says to Rano that she told her all about that incident, but she abuses Lakshmi that she maligned both the families. Lakshmi cries in front of Rishi. Rishi says she has disappointed him and his family.
