In the beginning of the episode, Lakshmi and her family look for Shalu by showing her photo and asking people around. Balwinder calls Ranno and says to her that it’s their chance to celebrate. She says to him that he is calling Lakshmi and asking for money. He says to her why she is always in a hurry, he will wait till she goes to the police. Ranno says she doesn’t want to get involved in the police situation. Balwinder tells her that when Lakshmi will go to the police station the police won’t file the missing report as it hasn’t been 24hrs and then Lakshmi will return home disappointed. He says then he will call and keep his condition when Lakshmi is helpless.
Ranno asks him how he is sure that Lakshmi will go to the police station, Lakshmi calls Ranno from behind and informs her that they’re going to the police station. Ranno says to her husband that she will call Guddu on behalf of Binny as she saw last with Shalu. Ranno calls Guddu and tells him to come.to the police station to file a complaint for Shalu’s disappearance.
Karishma asks Neelam if she is sure to talk to Rishi about Malishka’s relationship. Rishi comes to Neelam’s room and
Neelam asks him if he and Malishka go jewelry shopping with her for the wedding. Rishi takes Lakshmi’s name, she screams at him to not take her name in front of her. Neelam asks Karishma to call Malishka’s mother as she wants to give her the news of Rishi and Malishka’s wedding.
Rishi tells Neelam that Malishka is having trust issues with him. Karishma returns to the room and Neelam says to her that they are thinking of Rishi and Malishka’s wedding and Malishka has trust issues. She says that they are being hasty, Rishi agrees. Neelam receives a call and goes to the side. Karishma tells Rishi that he doesn’t have any idea that Lakshmi humiliated his mother.
Rishi asks her what has happened, she tells him that she and Neelam went to Lakshmi’s house when he was in the hospital, and Neelam begged her but she didn’t agree to come with them as she wanted to go back with her sister’s. Neelam gets off the phone and Rishi says to her that he is sorry that for the first time she asked someone for something and was humiliated, he leaves. Neelam asks Karishma what did she tell Rishi. She tells.her that she told him the truth about Lakshmi, that she chose her sister’s over him.
Lakshmi and her family reach the police station and ask the inspector to write a missing person complaint. The inspector asks for how long the girl has been missing, Lakshmi says since noon. The inspector gets angry and says that the procedure is that the complaint can only be filed after 24 hrs, he says to her that her sister might have run away with someone. Lakshmi say stages her sister isn’t like that, she says if the police wants to wait for 24hrs fine but she is going to look for sister.
