In the beginning of the episode, Lakshmi in the auto thinks about Rishi blocking her. Meanwhile, Rishi comes to his room and Ayush asks him how long Malishka is going to stay with them, Rishi says that he has to get used to Malishka even though he is close to Lakshmi. Rishi says he knows that Ayush thinks that his and Lakshmi’s couple is the best and he wants them together. Rishi says to him that Lakshmi doesn’t want him in his life and has blocked him, and Malishka saw it with her own eyes Ayush says that Malishka is lying, Rishi asks him to stop defending and leaves.
Lakshmi reaches her family home, whereas Balwinder asks his friend if they have fed Shalu, Bablu informs that he gave her water. While Ranno opens the door, Lakshmi hears Shalu’s phone ringing and rushes inside. Lakshmi picks up the phone and Balwinder speaks with a voice changer. He says to her that he is well aware that she loves her sister. He says if she wants her Shalu alive then has to arrange fifty lakh by tomorrow.
Lakshmi gets worried how she will arrange the fifty lakh. Ranno’s husband says to Lakshmi that she should not worry as the person who called is doing a prank. Ranno asks what he means, he says that he is sure that the person heard near the police station about the missing person is trying to make money. Ranno goes to a side and calls Balwinder and says to him to do something that makes Lakshmi believe that Shalu is with them.
Balwinder calls again and Ranno’s husband says to him that he knows he is a fraud and Shalu isn’t with him. Balwinder says that he needs proof, he removes the tape, and Shalu screams and Lakshmi gets scared. Lakshmi asks the goons to not touch Shalu, Balwinder says he won’t but his knife would if she doesn’t give him money. Balwinder says after his call she will find a gift outside from his side, she brings a box and finds a blood-stained cloth inside, and starts worrying. Flashback of Balwinder applying the history blood on Shalu’s dupatta.
Lakshmi says to Balwinder that she doesn’t have the money and she cannot afford it. Balwinder says to her to not prank him as he knows that she is an Oberoi and has a lot of money. He says she has to bring the money to the park behind the temple. He says that if he doesn’t receive the money he will kill Shalu.
Ranno pretends to look worried and says to Lakshmi that the kidnapper is right, Lakshmi is still the daughter-in-law of the Oberoi family. She says that if she doesn’t then the kidnapper will kill Shalu. Ranno says to Lakshmi that she will have to ask Neelam for money to save Shalu’s life. Neha says that Ranno is right that only the Oberoi’s cab helped and they had the cash when Neelam came to take Lakshmi to the hospital.
