At the beginning of the episode, Rishi and Malishka hug. Rishi gets a call from Lakshmi. She asks what to wear. Rishi says whatever she wants. Malishka takes the phone from him. Lakshmi thinks he must be busy. She is nervous about what to wear for the event. Rishi tells Malishka that she did wrong. Malishka says she is happy because they have to go to the store inauguration. She says he will go home to change and then she will pick him up from there.
Lakshmi wonders who to ask as Neelam’s phone is not connecting. Shalu calls her. Lakshmi tells her about it. Shalu says she saw the publicity of the store and Rishi looked dashing in the pictures. Lakshmi asks her if she should wear some heavy saree. Shalu tells her to wear a modern gown. Lakhsmi says she does not have any gown. Ahana comes and says she will get it arranged in ten minutes. Shalu says she will also come there. Ahana calls the designer and arranges for a yellow gown.
Malishka calls Jennifer to check the color theme of the store so that she can choose her gown accordingly. Jennifer tells Malishka to tell her uncle that she confirmed with Rishi and also convinced his wife Lakshmi to come along, so they will come together. Malishka is furious and throws away the phone.
Lakshmi gets ready in the gown. Shalu and Ahana wait for her outside the washroom. Rishi comes just then. Lakshmi comes out and says she is looking very bad. Rishi says no. Lakshmi feels conscious so Rishi puts a DUPATTA on her and says she is looking beautiful. Lakshmi says Ahana and Shalu insisted but she is uncomfortable. Rishi tells her not to change for anyone and just smile. Lakshmi feels happy. Shalu and Ahana tease her.
Rishi gets changed. Lakshmi tells him that she will be ready in 5 minutes. Malishka calls him and tells him about Jennifer’s goof up. Rishi is shocked. Malishka says she will go with him and Lakshmi must not come there. Rishi is confused but tells her that they will go together. Lakshmi comes dressed in saree.
Virendra scolds Ayush for teasing Shalu. Ayush says she is no saint. Ayush says no one understands him in this house except Lakshmi.
Rishi makes an excuse and goes out of the room. Shalu helps Lakshmi to get ready. Ahana says Rishi loves her too much. Rishi comes back and says the organizers have canceled the event. Lakshmi says it is good as she was nervous. Ahana and Shalu are disappointed, but Lakshmi says she got more time to prepare for Karwachauth, the next day. Lakshmi thanks Ahana for the gown. Ahana says she is unique that is why the gown looked so good on her, otherwise everyone wears such gowns.
Malishka enters the lift wearing a similar gown in yellow. She sees Jennifer also wearing a similar gown. She tells Jennifer to change her gown. Jennifer says she could also tell her the same. She tells her that she is Malishka. Jennifer apologizes and says she does not have a spare dress. Malishka tells her not to stay near her. Jennifer wonders where Lakshmi is when Rishi is here. She thinks of calling Lakshmi to request her again.
Lakshmi gives a tab for Shalu and Bani as Virendra’s gift. Shalu thanks her and bids goodbye. Jennifer calls Lakshmi but Ahana disconnects and tells her that Neelam has bought a new saree for her for Karwachauth. Jennifer calls on the landline. Lakshmi picks up, but Malishka comes and asks for scissors from Jennifer. Lakshmi recognizes her voice and wonders what Malishka is doing there. Ahana says they have this landline only because of Nani. Jennifer thinks it is no use calling Lakshmi now as the inauguration is starting.
Shalu sees the clips on social media and calls Lakshmi to tell her. She says the event was not canceled and asks her to call Rishi. Lakshmi hesitates but Shalu insists that it must be some misunderstanding. Lakshmi says she will go quickly and call Rishi on the way. Ahana calls the driver to take her to the showroom. Ahana thinks they are made for each other.
The scissors are bad, so Rishi is not able to cut the ribbon. The owner asks for a new set of scissors. Shalu wonders who is with Rishi if not Lakshmi. Shalu gets shocked at the way Rishi is holding Malishka but she is not able to see the face. She deduces that Rishi went there with someone else.
