At the beginning of the episode, Rishi goes to meet Malishka. Malishka hugs him and asks who is better among them. Malishka says she is better as she is fasting for him and still going out with him. Rishi says he thought she will compliment him as he is fasting for her. He thinks of Lakshmi. Rishi asks Malishka to come home for puja and other rituals. Malishka says what will she tell Lakshmi. She says she will do it next year and this year they will just see the moon.
Rano and Neha come for puja. Karishma tells Neelam that the lady who tells the story is not coming. Neelam gets worried as no one knows the story. Lakshmi says she knows the story and she can tell if they think it is ok. Dadi asks if she remembers properly. Lakshmi says yes. Neelam says ok. Karishma is going but Dadi tells her to stay there only.
Rishi and Malishka go to jewelers. The jeweler recognizes Rishi and tells that they will send some jewelry home too. He tells that Lakshmi will also come soon. Lakshmi tells the Karwachauth story to everyone. Everyone listens to the story nicely. They do the ritual to revolve the THALI. Dadi says none’s fast got spoilt because of Lakshmi. Karishma and Neha get irritated and get up from there.
Jeweller asks why Lakshmi did not come. Malishka gets irritated and says she has come and what is his problem. Rishi says she has come to help choose the gift for Lakshmi as she is Lakshmi’s friend. Malishka gets angry and chooses one chain and goes from there. Rishi makes the payment.
Neha tells Rano why she brought her to listen to Lakshmi’s praise. Neha says Lakshmi’s fast did not break as per her plan. Rano tells her another plan. Neha comes out of Lakshmi’s room. Dadi asks what she was doing there. Neha says she was looking for Lakshmi as Shalu called her. Lakshmi says she will talk to her later. She and Dadi take Dadi’s friend to her room. Rano looks for Neelam and says she wants to meet Lakshmi. She asks her to accompany her to Lakshmi’s room.
Malishka and Rishi come back home. Kiran asks why they look upset. Malishka says she is hurt because of a showroom person. Rishi explains that the person knew Lakshmi. Kiran tells Malishka to go inside and asks Rishi to change into traditional clothes. Malishka says she does not want the gift.
Rano tells Neelam also to come along. Rano says there was something in her mouth. Neha comes there and pretends to make her handkerchief fall. She says people don’t clean the room there. She shows a plate of food that was made for lunch. Neha says that means it is today’s plate. Neha asks Lakshmi if she ate food.
Malishka finds her favorite cake in the fridge. She eats the cake and later realizes that she was not supposed to drink even water. Malishka thinks she should eat a bit more and also drink water.
Neelam asks Lakshmi if she ate food. Neelam says how she could do something like that. Lakshmi says she never ate anything. Rano says then how that plate came there. Lakshmi says she does not know but she will put it. Lakshmi’s head spins. The guest lady supports her and checks her. She tells Neelam that Lakshmi’s lips are drying and her stomach is empty. She scolds Neelam for not trusting her. Lakshmi says Neelam misunderstood because of the plate.
Kiran sees Malishka eating. Malishka says she could not control herself and why she made the cake. Kiran says she made it for after the fast. Malishka says she will apologize to Rishi. Kiran tells her to eat well and not tell Rishi anything about it. Malishka easts more cake.
Neelam says sorry to aunty. She says Neelam is lucky to have a daughter-in-law like Lakshmi. Dadi says the question is who brought the plate here.
