At the beginning of the episode, Lakshmi asks Rishi what he is looking for. Rishi tells her that he is not going to the office because of the media. Lakshmi tells him not to avoid them else people will consider him guilty. She tells him not to worry about people who do not matter to him, but about those who care about him. Lakshmi tells him that they will face this tough situation together. She says the truth will soon be out in the open. Rishi says she is speaking like his Nana ji. He says he is short-tempered. Lakshmi tells him to not answer the media people, but she will answer them. Rishi agrees to go to the office.
Ayush is surprised to know that Rishi could sleep without sleeping pills. Everyone is surprised to see Rishi dressed to go to the office. Neelam and Malishka ask him not to go. Rishi says he does not want to hide because of random people and he is sure the people who matter to him have full faith in him. He repeats everything that Lakshmi told him.
Malishka says it is a bad decision. Rishi says he has a meeting with foreign investors. Virendra tells him to go ahead. Neelam tells him to take care. Rishi and Ayush leave for office. Neelam says Rishi is looking better.
Virendra asks Lakshmi if she convinced Rishi to go to the office. Virendra says she is Rishi’s strength. Malishka overhears them. Virendra asks how she made Rishi sleep without pills. Lakshmi says it is a secret between them. Lakshmi says Rishi forgot the investor’s file at home. Virendra tells her to go to the office with the file.
Ayush and Rishi reach the office. Rishi is nervous. Malishka also comes. Rishi thanks her for being with him. The media hounds him with their questions. Rishi stays silent. Lakshmi also reaches there. She tells the reporters not to misunderstand Rishi’s silence. She says Rishi is innocent and the truth will come out soon. She says her faith is even stronger on him as he never said a single bad word about Shanaya despite being accused wrongly.
Lakshmi tells the reporters to do their job of reporting but not become the judge. She takes Rishi’s hand and goes in with him. Rishi asks Lakshmi what was all that. Lakshmi says she could not stop herself and gives him his file. Malishka shouts at Lakshmi for talking like that to reporters. She says Lakshmi is from a small town so she does not know how to talk to the media. Rishi says Lakshmi was absolutely right. Malishka goes disappointed from there. Rishi tells Lakshmi to go back home as he has a meeting.
Rishi tries to talk to Malishka. Malishka asks him to go away. Rishi apologizes to her. Malishka says she asked him to stay at home but he listened to Lakshmi. She says he favored Lakshmi over her. She calls Lakshmi a villager and says she does not know anything about their society. She says Lakshmi is low class and does not even deserve to be a maid at his house.
Rishi tells her that he is upset because he loves her and she is behaving in a manner that doesn’t suit her. Malishka says he should show that he loves her and tries to jump from the window. Rishi stops her and tells her not to test his love for her all the time. Malishaka says he was not late today will not ever be late because they love each other passionately. She says she forgave her for taking Lakshmi’s side and says she is giving him the last chance to save their love. Rishi tells her not to try such stunts. A peon gives a pen drive to Rishi.
