At the beginning of the episode, Pandit ji comes to Oberoi house for puja for Lakshmi’s safety. Neelam says she has prepared everything. Dadi prays that Lakshmi is found safe and sound. Malishka calls Rishi as he is driving. He tells her that he is going to the temple. Malishka says she will also come. Rishi tells her not to come, but she says she has started already. Rishi gets distracted and hits an auto. He apologises to the auto driver and goes on.
Lakshmi finishes AARTI and bends down in front of the idol. Her forehead gets covered in SINDOOR. She remembers Rishi and Malishka’s betrayal and lies. Rishi reaches the temple. Malishka also reaches there. Priest tells everyone to come with him for PRASAD. Lakshmi turns back to go out. She remembers Rishi’s lies to her about Malishka.
Rishi sees Lakshmi with black eyes and forehead covered in SINDOOR. He thanks God and says they were very worried about her. He tell her to go home with him. Lakshmi sees Malishka behind him in shock. Lakshmi says sorry for what happened last night. She says she thought she had a nightmare that he is going away from her, but DURGA Ma was giving her signs. She says he must be ridiculing her silliness that she kept believing him despite everything being in front of her eyes. She says she went out in storm as she was worried about his life.
Lakshmi says she trusted him blindly and she could not believe her Rishi could cheat on her. She says she never thought he got married to the wrong man. Malishka says she will explain things to her. Lakshmi says she trusted him as her husband and her as her friend and she even sought her help in finding Rishi’s girlfriend. Lakshmi says she is big fool that he asked for help from the one who Rishi had an affair with. She says she never thought wrong about them despite seeing them together.
Lakshmi says she always thought she came in between two friends, she never thought she came in between two lovers. She says she can understand everything now. She says she is naive and trusted them too much. Lakshmi break down. Rishi feels emotional seeing her like this.
Rishi tells Lakshmi to go home and then they can talk. Lakshmi warns him not to touch her. She says she is getting punished for trusting him blindly. Malishka asks her to listen to her. Lakshmi says what can she say now. She says she was marrying a married man. She says they do not respect any relationship. She tells Rishi that he faked the respect he showed for her. Lakshmi says he should have asked her once to go away and she would have gone for his happiness.
Rishi says he did not want to hurt her. Lakshmi says truth does not hurt but betrayal does. She reminds him that she told him that she cannot tolerate lies and betrayal. Rishi and Malishka try to say something. Lakshmi says now only she will talk and she will not listen to anything. She says Rishi faked her praises and told lies that only she is made for him.
Malishka says Rishi is hers and was always hers. Lakshmi tells her to shut up. She says Rishi was not hers when he got married to her. She says the whole family accepted her as Rishi’s wife not her. She says Rishi was hers even last night. She says she thought even Rishi loves her the same way as she loves him, but it all became clear last night.
