At the beginning of the episode, Lakshmi says she considered herself the most fortunate as she got Rishi but he betrayed her. Malishka says she should allow them to answer. Rishi tells Malishka to stop, but she says Lakshmi must be feeling rejected. She says Rishi never loved her, so Rishi never rejected her. She discloses that Rishi was in love with her even before their marriage. Lakshmi is shocked. She says she was blaming herself while he already had an affair before marriage.
Rishi says sorry to Lakshmi. Lakshmi says it is too late for apologies now. Lakshmi questions him why he married her despite being in love with Malishka. Lakshmi says if his parents pressured him, he should have shared this with them at least. Malishka says they all knew everything about them. Lakshmi takes Rishi by hand to the temple and asks Rishi to swear in front of God and tell her the truth. Rishi stays silent thus admitting that everyone knew. Lakshmi is taken aback. She remembers how Gurucharan warned her.
Lakshmi says to Mata Rani that her husband and her whole family did this to her. She asks why Rishi took out the ring and chain on Karwachauth. She asks why he did not finish the relationship then only. Lakshmi says she is ending their marriage in front of God.
Pandit ji carries out the puja. Virendra and Ayush reach home. Ahana tells them that Lakshmi has been found. They become happy and hug each other and join the puja.
Rishi asks what Lakshmi is saying. Lakshmi says she is saying what he could not say and she is leaving him. She says he turned their marriage and her feelings into a joke. She says she thought of him as her father’s blessing, but it was all a misunderstanding. She says he snatched everything from her. Rishi tries to say something but Lakshmi says she can not trust him. Rishi says he tried to tell her many times but he stopped thinking how hurt she will be. Lakshmi asks why he did not tell her before their marriage.
Lakshmi says he snatched her belief in the goodness of people. She says she thought she found a new family after marrying him but he snatched her family and trust too. She says everything is over for them now. Lakshmi puts her hand on her MANGALSUTRA. She remembers that MANGALSUTRA signifies their union, so it is most important for her. Lakshmi does not take it off but starts leaving. Malishka gets up and asks her to listen. Lakshmi says she will not believe anything she says.
Malishka says she should think it is good that at least she got to know the truth. Lakshmi says how dare she say something like this. Lakshmi says she should have known this truth before they got married, so this is not good. Lakshmi says there is no pardon for their crime. Lakshmi leaves the temple. Rishi tries to follow her but she disappears.
Lakshmi walks alone in shock. Rishi tries to find Lakshmi. Malishka stops him and tells him to relax. Rishi asks if she saw Lakshmi’s condition and still she is saying nothing happened. Rishi says he should not have done this to Lakshmi. Malishka says he should not have been friendly to her, that is why he is feeling sad. Rishi says Malishka pressured him to marry her. He blasts her for deceiving him also. Rishi says Lakshmi is heartbroken because of them. Malishka asks if their relationship is wrong. Rishi says their marriage is wrong.
