At the beginning of the episode, Virendra apologizes to the police for the trouble and sends them back. Neelam asks Lakshmi to wear the necklace now that it has been found and asks her to be more responsible in the future. Rano puts the necklace on Lakshmi’s neck and thanks to her for saving Neha. Lakshmi thinks Neelam is so nice that she did not say anything to her but she regrets that she had to lie.
Rishi says he needs to go back to the office. Dadi stops him. Karishma says Lakshmi’s carelessness humiliated all their guests. She says Lakshmi must apologize to the guests. Lakshmi says she made the mistake, so she will apologize. Lakshmi says sorry with folded hands. Karishma says she must go to every guest individually and say sorry. Lakshmi does that. Guests say it is alright. Lakshmi says sorry to Neelam. Karishma says they consider guests as God, so she must go to Gurudwara the next day and pick everyone’s shoes there. Rishi tries to save her, but Lakshmi says she will do it. Lakshmi says this is not punishment but “SEWA” and she will be happy to do it. Guests praise Lakshmi that she is pure. Karishma thinks Lakshmi has no self-respect that she is not reacting to all this insult.
Virendra stops Rishi from going as his maternal grandfather is coming. Rano says they must go now as Neha is unwell. Preetam apologizes to Virendra for whatever happened. Virendra says nothing bad happened. Lakshmi says goodbye to Rano and Preetam. Rano and Preetam thank her. She says this family is also hers, but they must put some sense into Neha. Rano goes from there. Shalu scolds Lakshmi for not defending her self-respect. Lakshmi says they all love her in this family. Shalu is not convinced that Neha will mend her ways and tells Lakshmi to defend herself and learn to live for herself. Preetam says he will take care of Neha.
At home, Rano tells Preetam not to scold Neha so much. Preetam says if Lakshmi had not saved them, what face they would show to everyone. Neha says Rano stole the necklace and she just helped. Preetam gets furious. Rano says she will not steal if he can get her that kind of necklace. She blames Preetam for their poverty and tells him not to scold Neha for Lakshmi. She says she will talk to Gurucharan for property papers.
Neelam’s father comes. Neelam and Virendra welcome him. Dadi greets him so he says how come she is still there. He taunts them that they are just pretending to respect him as they conducted Rishi’s wedding without his presence. Neelam says they found such a good girl that they did not want to delay the wedding. Neelam’s father says Neelam must have decided that because of her superstitions. He tells Virendra not to listen to everything she says. Rishi greets his Nana. Nana ji sees Lakshmi and goes to meet her. He likes Lakshmi and says what can he give her except his blessings. He gives Lakshmi an envelope and asks her to open it. There are flight tickets to Simla for Rishi and Lakshmi inside. Rishi says to Virendra that he does not want to go on honeymoon.
Everyone is shocked to see his reaction. Nana ji asks why he reacted like that. Virendra says Neelam will convince him. Nana Ji says why he needs convincing. Neelam asks Rishi why he behaved that way with Nana ji. Rishi says he wants to send him on a honeymoon with Lakshmi. Neelam says so what is wrong with that. Rishi says how can you ask that.
