At the beginning of the episode, Virendra prays to God. Ayush asks why he is crying. Virendra says even he is crying. Virendra tells him that these are tears of joy. Ayush says he got emotional to see Rishi caring for Lakshmi like that. Virendra and Ayush vow to bring Rishi and Lakshmi together by Diwali.
Rishi takes care of Lakshmi. The nurse says he did very good dressing and says Lakshmi needs a tetanus injection. Lakshmi says she is scared of injections. Rishi laughs at him that she fought with crocodiles and snakes and she is scared of injection. Rishi holds Lakshmi’s hand and distracts her, while the nurse gives her an injection. Lakshmi thanks the nurse. The nurse tells her to thank her loving husband. Rishi goes from there. The nurse says she has never seen such a loving husband. Lakshmi says she is lucky.
Rishi tries to call Malishka, but she does not pick up his call. Rishi says she will later blame him for spending time with Lakshmi. Karishma hears him. Virendra and Ayush tell Rishi to stay at home with Lakshmi and they will handle the office. Rishi takes care of Lakshmi and does not let her do anything. Virendra and Ayush feel happy to see this. Kiran tells Malishka that she hopes Rishi does not go to Lakshmi. Malishka says Rishi does not deserve her.
Lakshmi gives cookies to Dadi. Virendra pushes Dadi so that Lakshmi falls into Rishi’s arms. Neelam says tomorrow is Diwali, so she has called the decorators. She tells Lakshmi not to do anything. Lakshmi says she wants to do as she loves Diwali. Neelam says Virendra will get tense. Virendra says she does not mind if Lakshmi is alright. Neelam agrees.
Karishma calls Kiran to tell that Malishka will have the same fate as her. She says that they should tell her if Malishka wants to break up with Rishi. Kiran says Malishka loves Rishi madly and she is just angry with him. Karishma tells that Malishka needs to change or her fears will actually come true. Malishka hears them.
Neelam asks Karishma if she has Lakshmi’s aunt’s number. Virendra says he has the number. Karishma says not to invite Lakshmi’s family for the Diwali party. Neelam says Virendra should call them to invite them. Karishma asks Neelam why she is calling them. Neelam says Lakshmi saved Rishi’s life and she realized that she only brought Lakshmi in this house, so she must consider Lakshmi as her daughter-in-law for this year. Karishma thinks something is going on in Neelam’s mind that she is not telling.
Virendra calls Rano to invite them for Diwali party. Rano gives the phone to Shalu and goes to check the pressure cooker. Virendra also gives the phone to Ayush, as he talks to Rishi. They fight again and pull each other’s legs. Ayush tells Shalu to reach on time and disconnects. Ayush asks Virendra what happened. Virendra says he made an excuse of a headache to stop Rishi from going to Malishka.
Rishi tells Virendra that he has asked to give him medicine and he is going out. Ayush says he needs his help. They all go to Lakshmi and ask what she did to cure Rishi’s headache. Lakshmi says she gave him an oil massage. Rishi tells that Virendra has a headache. Lakshmi brings oil and is about to give a massage. Virendra says Lakshmi is looking too tired and asks Rishi to give her head massage while Ayush gives him a head massage.
