This week, Rishi begs Lakshmi to open her eyes, he will never be able to forgive himself if something happens to her. Lakshmi opens her eyes. Everyone is happy to see her fine. Malishka tells Kiran that their relationship is over. Rishi supports Lakshmi as she is limping and puts her to bed. Lakshmi explains that she doubted him for some time but then she believed him. Rishi scolds Lakshmi for trying to get up and tells her to rest for 2-3 days. He dresses her foot injury. Virendra sees them and thinks Rishi’s heart is making him care for Lakshmi in real.
Virendra and Ayush vow to bring Rishi and Lakshmi together by Diwali.
Rishi takes care of Lakshmi. Nurse says she has never seen such a loving husband. Rishi tries to call Malishka, but she does not pick up his call. Karishma says not to invite Lakshmi’s family for Diwali party. Neelam says Virendra should call them to invite them. Karishma thinks something is going on in Neelam’s mind that she is not telling. Rishi is going out but Virendra says Lakshmi is looking too tired and asks Rishi to give her head massage while Ayush gives him head massage.
Rishi gives Lakshmi head massage. Lakshmi tells him that her father also used to give her head massage. Lakshmi says she misses him even more with him as he is a lot like him. Lakshmi does all the arrangements for Diwali celebrations. Rishi brings lights and asks for Lakshmi’s help in putting them. Lakshmi makes rangoli. Rishi comes distracted on his phone and spoils Lakshmi’s rangoli. Virendra scolds him and tells him to help Lakshmi in fixing it. Kiran comes and sees Rishi and Lakshmi together. Karishma warns her that Malishka is letting Lakshmi come closer to Rishi. Neelam praises Lakshmi in front of Kiran for the rangoli and also credits her for the arrangements.
Lakshmi select traditional clothes for Rishi to wear for puja. Rishi and Lakshmi tease each other. Rishi gets dressed up and thinks what is going on with him and how he can be this friendly with Lakshmi. Virendra tells Rishi that his grandmother used to say to put KAJAL ward off evil eye. Soniya rebukes Ahana and Devika that they are trying to spoil Rishi’s life by bringing Lakshmi and Rishi closer. Neelam is happy to see Rishi in traditional clothes. Karishma says Rishi will never do AARTI. Neelam says Rishi does believe in these rituals despite being her son. Rishi gives KAJAL to Lakshmi to put behind her ear. Dadi starts the AARTI. Lakshmi looks for Rishi. Rishi is on stairs. Lakshmi calls him but he says no. Lakshmi gets sad.
Rishi joins her and they do AARTI together. Karishma thinks Neelam is just pretending to be nice to Lakshmi. Lakshmi asks why he first refused and then came for AARTI. Rishi says because her face fell when he refused. Shalu, Ahana and Devika tease them. Ayush tells them to give the new couple some space. Shalu and Ayush quarrel again. Shalu stamps his foot. Everyone goes to garden for crackers and Rishi and Lakshmi spend some time alone. Rishi puts KAJAL behind her ear. Rishi tells her that something about her makes her very special. Lakshmi says she does not know if she is special or not, but he made her feel very special today.
Power goes off. Rishi and Lakshmi save the diya from extinguishing and stop a bad omen. Malishka comes with Viraj Singhania to the party. Malishka says Viraj used to study with Rishi and her. Lakshmi tells Malishka that she spoilt her rangoli. Malishka says she did not see. Viraj compliments Lakshmi’s sweets and her name. Malishka asks him not to flirt with her as they are newly married. Rishi asks why Malishka is making everyone uncomfortable. Lakshmi’s head spins and Rishi takes her to sit. He says she worked hard despite being unwell a few days ago. Rishi feeds Lakshmi sweets, as Malishka watches them.
