This week, Lakshmi attacks the crocodile with a stick to rescue Rishi. Rishi gets unconscious. Lakshmi carries him up with her. Crocodile follows them. Locals pull Rishi up. Lakshmi is still in water when crocodile reaches her and bites her leg. A villager attacks the crocodile and rescue Lakshmi. Lakshmi asks them to take them to hospital. They go to get the tempo. Lakshmi sees a vegetable cart and brings it near Rishi. She puts him on the cart and pulls him to the main road. Tempo driver helps her in taking them to hospital. Doctor takes Rishi for surgery and attend to Lakshmi too. Pandit ji is doing puja which gets disturbed because of fire. Rano tells Neha to focus on getting married to Ayush instead of Rishi now.
Oberoi family reaches the hospital and ask about Rishi and Lakshmi. Doctors and locals tells them how Lakshmi saved Rishi’s life. Lakshmi gets worried seeing that her SINDOOR has been wiped. Rishi regains senses and calls for Lakshmi. Rishi remembers how Lakshmi fought with the crocodile to save him. Neelam and Virendra recall that Pandit ji had told that Rishi has “MARKESH DOSH” and next 1 year will be difficult for him. Pandit ji told that there is only one solution to this and they will have to get Rishi married to a girl whose planets can save Rishi.
Virendra and Neelam recall that Rishi got stuck in fire in the hotel and Lakshmi miraculously saved him from the fire. Neelam says Pandit ji asked for Lakshmi’s horoscope after hearing this and confirmed that she is the right girl and that is why they pursued and convinced Lakshmi to marry Rishi.
Rishi reaches Lakshmi’s ward. Nurse tells him to put SINDOOR for Lakshmi as she was worried to see it wiped. He does that and goes back to his room. His girlfriend Malishka comes to meet him. Neelam tells Rishi that marrying Lakshmi was necessary for his life. Rishi says he wishes this year to be over fast, so that he can get rid of Lakshmi and marry Malishka. Lakshmi’s foot trips and her MANGALSUTRA gets stuck and breaks.
Virendra sees Lakshmi collecting the beads and feels guilty seeing her like this. Malishka and Rishi are holding hands when Malishka sees Lakshmi outside the door. Lakshmi is introduced to Malishka as a family friend. Neelam thanks Lakshmi for saving Rishi’s life and apologises for not being there when she woke up. Virendra tells Neelam that he is feeling guilty for taking advantage of Lakshmi. Neelam says they saved Lakshmi from marrying Balwinder, so there is no nothing to feel guilty.
Doctors allow Rishi and Lakshmi to go home. Malishka comes along with the family. Everyone praises Lakshmi for her courage. Karishma scolds Malishka for giving so much credit to Lakshmi. She says Virendra is already feeling guilty and this way Lakshmi will become everyone’s favourite. Karishma says she is trying to keep Lakshmi like an object from day 1. She says she put oil under the KUMKUM THALI, so that she slips and Neelam will feel she is unlucky. She says she also created that drama on MUH-DIKHAI so that noone likes Lakshmi in this house . Malishka is confident that Lakshmi can never take her place in this house as everyone in the family loves her like family. She discloses that she only convinced Rishi to marry Lakshmi, even though he was not willing to cheat Lakshmi.
Lakshmi makes turmeric milk and paste for Rishi.
Karishma tells Malishka to be careful of Lakshmi. Rishi and Malishka chat at bedtime. Lakshmi starts coughing while sleeping. Rishi gets her a glass of water. Malishka wonders why Rishi is not replying to her messages. Lakshmi decorates the place for Ganapati festival and insists that she will make the BHOG for Ganapati ji. Neelam allows her, which surprises Karishma.
Rishi asks Malishka why she is not talking to him. Malishka says he has changed because of Lakshmi. Rishi says he will not listen to anything about Lakshmi.
